DO NOT CALL BACK

Received a dunning call that appeared to come from this number. The message directed me to call a different number back to speak to someone at U.S. Mediations. My guess is that they are probably another scam debt collector, and that they recently purchased this number. I say recently because the number they directed me to call back was 855-404-8767 - and a site similar to 800notes is the first entry on Google for the number and is flooded by paid shills for the company stating that it's completely legit.

This board is simply a sounding board for people to vent and inform others of scam telemarketing calls they receive.  There is no authority associated with the 800notes site to stop these callers.  In order for people to collectively stop these type calls they must act together - and TAKE ACTION!.  It doesn?t do any good to complain about a caller on this board unless you then take the next step and do something about it!  And never, never, ever engage the caller or call back the number.  The false robo callers will then capture your number as a ?live one? and use it over and over and sell it to other scammers.
The DO NOT CALL list is worthless, they do not act on anything, just build a database of numbers.
In order to do something to help stop these type calls, everyone - EVERYONE needs to file an online complaint directly with the FCC.  If they receive enough complaints about a particular number - they will act on it.  Do it today and pass along the info:

This call is not truly from Newt 2012 but scammers who are trying to phish for your credit card information.

Thanks. I just did the same. Pretty quick. Hope it works. Until this year, we had never received calls for any donations. This year we're getting slammed from both sides. Annoying.

Newt Gingrich is the anti Christ and I wish he would stop calling me. How do I get voff his auto call blitz? I can't stand the guy. Seriously, I wouldn't feed him to my dog!

I dislike being called on the phone  & ask to support the party of democratic or republican just don't bother me.

Long distance on the land line costs me 3 cents per minute - free on cell phone. Look into you phone plans if they cost enough to worry about.

These are credit card phishers..they offer reduced interest rates for a very short time period all they want from you is your credit card information and that 3 digit number on the back of the card  I have tried to chase them down but even Bell South of Atlanta doesn't know how to find them....

This is a scammer call from people trying to get your credit card information,they have hacked into the 4042207273 and are looking for suckers to fall for their reduced interest credit line!

Folks if you decide to change your vote because of some lousy phone calls .... it's about our political system the greatest system in the world....a little frustration is the cost of supporting our futures.  Have some good old american spirit, i picked it up and talked to the person on the other end!  god help this country if Obama gets another term! Seriously people grow up!

How dumb...how rude....I've been getting these calls for months from good ole Newt2012. He's lost my vote that is for sure. They call 20 to 25 times a week all hours of the day, sometimes 2 to 3 times a day......what a bunch of crap.

The caller ID is faked and you can't call back to be removed from their list.  Dirty and illegal practice.

I tried it, it's free, and it does block calls from politicians - 9 times, so far, for this number.

Why should I spend my money on a long distance call to Georgia to remove my number from Newt's list? These people are just arrogant. They think they have the RIGHT to invade our homes twice a day, and even on Sundays to give us the benefit of their wonderful "message". The DNR should apply to these calls too, because in the long run, it's all telemarketing.

This number calls many days a week. It makes sense that it is for a Republican candidate; my husband and I both are getting postal mail from them as well. This won't change who we vote for, but it is certainly annoying.

Just call the number back - you will get a very polite none pushy automated message  -listen to it and when it gets to three it asks if you wish to be removed from the list and to hit three...you are asked to enter your number and you are  told this has been done and to have a great day.

Damn nuisance.  I refuse to talk to him or anyone else political for that matter.

No idea who this belongs to. There's never a message. Could be Newt; could be a political rival aiming to rile voters against Newt. Don't know and don't care.

If you call that number you have to pay for a long distance call.  It happened to me.
