They are calling for the Atlanta symphony. They got my number cause I bought tickets to the ballet. If you go to anything cultural in Atlanta they will call you. They have some good deals occasionally.

I am sure it is ASO now. I just called the ASO marketing office. The guy who picked up the phone said it is true. And I told him about the guy that called me from the number this morning. He even tried to transfer the call to that person. And I asked him to stop. I am sure the number is NOT a scam. It is annoying, but it is your choice to pick up the phone or not.

They started calling me this week. They claimed to be ASO, and they seem to know detailed information about me. My name, my address and the concert I attended...I think they are either ASO or ASO leaked information to them...In either way, I think ASO is making a big mistake!!!

It's the symphony for me but I work at the woodruff center and I keep asking to be taken off their list. :P they leave no message when ignored.

I got a call from this number almost 2 weeks ago. Person I spoke with knew which performances I attended and begin to suggest upcoming performances. He was talking about limited time offers, about which ASO sent  me an e-mail several months ago. My prepaid balance was out, so the call got interrupted. Since then, this number has been calling everyday. Since the guy was talking so long and so irrelevant to "sell" tickets, I don't want to waste my minutes so I don't pick up.

This person has been calling my Google Voice number. I have not responded any time. But it should be reported.

Yeah It is a scam. They called me as well just a second ago. There is no such thing as priority seating. My dad sang for the chorus and played for the orchestra. My sister currently sings with the chorus... I know what I am talking about. When I called the number back the answering machine said something about employment. You must audition to be in the orchestra not "interview"...

Claimed to be from Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, said I went to see the Chieftains last year.  I told him that was my mom and he insisted on trying to sell me some package with ASO.  I told him again that I wasn't interested, because this was my mom's thing, and he asked me to have her call him.  I just assumed my mom had listed my phone number as a backup contact, but after reading these posts i'm not so sure.  I'm on the do not call list.  I still get these calls and when I answer there's just silence on the other end.

I live in Atlanta and I use to be a member to the Atlanta Smphony & Orchestra and the number calling is not the actual ASO but a telemarketing company that the ASO hired to sell tickets no scam or danger to anyone

They call me virtually every day, even on weekends, trying to sell a subscription to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. I will report them to the police. I have attended ASO events periodically. I have reported it to the ASO but have not heard back from them. "Tom" is the person who calls and he will not stop talking until I hang up. He is a soulless automaton. I suspect that this is a scam, but if it is the ASO, I will not support them in the future.

I've answered before, and bought tickets to the Symphony, and gone to the events.  It's legit.  But they are REALLY annoying, as they call almost every day.  Which is why I will NOT be buying any more tickets.

We have season tickets to Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, so we assume this call is actually from ASO.  They call us almost every day here in middle Georgia, and we don't answer.  They don't leave a message.

One thing about spam callers of which you can be sure - if they do not leave a message, then they are not interested in giving you information.  Instead, they want to speak with a live person in order to use marketing ploys and psychological manipulation to try to talk you into doing something (for them) or giving-up something - like money. We're not into being manipulated, so we don't answer such calls.

This probably is not an actual scam.  It's just a spam call designed to get more money out of you.

It is suspicious that ASO seems to be calling folks in states other than Georgia and who don't have any prior business relationship with ASO.

I have a cousin who works there the number is not a fake. She sells season tickets for ACO...just wanted to let anyone who has gotten calls from that number that is not a scam...but for real.

They just called me to. I asked how they got my number and they said, "you filled out a form". I said, I've never been to an ASO event, and I know they would not contact me in this way. I asked for him to email me and he was insistent on calling me back. The fact he didn't even want my email is very telling. He sounded very slick.

They may also be using 309-253-4040 as a LOT of Peoria wireless numbers get searched on these great free services (THANKS) and they knew my last name (no biggie, I'm in the book) but ALSO on the Do-not-call lists both Federal and for Texas where I live.

And no, I have never even been to Atlanta except to change planes and once for a deposition in...1993?
(When you die and go to heaven, you will STILL have to change planes in Atlanta...)

This is the way to sort the sheep from the goats, as any legit biz, even if they IGNORE the law like bill collectors,
MUST identify themselves and will do so if they want to get anywhere.  If they WON'T? SCAM ALERT!

It is Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Took me a while to realize. If you attend events and are not a season ticket holder, they try to get to join in. Not alltogether a bad thing when you consider.

Received a call from this number with classical background music playing  but no voice response

I swear i get a call from this number EVERYDAY! i go the the ASO about once a month but i've never purchased over the phone. then one day i start getting calls from some "ASO membership staff". at first i thought  that because i attended fairly frequently i was put on a list but the calling is just too aggressive. i don't think it's really them...DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!!

Its the ASO . They are relentless. Just inappropriate, stalker. Sometimes its 7 times a day. They had gone away for a while but now it seems they are back.

No joke. I can;t believe its them again! I actually called their office and told them I would file charges if they kept harassing me. I wonder if they understand how much this puts people off. They look desperate and unprofessional.....don;t they understand that if someone already goes, they will prob. go again!

I left them a message on Apr 26 asking them to stop calling, yet calls persist. I just received another one, along with a 5-second blank voicemail.
