I thought they said they were from Clearpoint.  They also said that they had gotten my information because of my trial mortgage modification -- however, I've completed that part.

They offered me credit counseling, my credit report and score.  She said it would take 30-45 minutes.  I said I didn't have the time now, but I also asked if they would need information from me - ie, how would they run my credit report?  

She said I'd have to provide that information (social security number).  I was polite and told her I don't give out that number to people who call me.  I thanked her and declined the offer.

However, I'm suspicious that this is a scam, as no one should call and ask you to give personal information like that.

I really doubt this is legitimate!  

I do not answer unknown numbers; caller does not leave voicemail; this has been going on for too long. STOP!

Called my WORK phone number 10/18 8:57 AM.  I answered to tell them the number was for a business and as soon as I answered, they hung up.

Oh yeah?  CredAbility can be a SCAMMER debt counseling service, how would people know the difference?
People should call their mortgage company and VERIFY this is a legit third party before giving out any info.

I received a call from that same number and they told me the same thing on my voice mail because I hadn't answered because I didn't know the number. I also did not call them back because I'm not sure either if it is true.

I got a call from this number.  The caller ID said "CCCS."  When I answered the caller hung up immediately, so I called back to see what the call was about.  The person who recorded the voicemail was a female who identified herself as "Angela Bowe."  I did not leave a message.

This number has started calling me too. I do not pick up any number I don't recognize.

This is from a company called CredAbility. They are a non-profit debt counseling service. They receive third party information from your Mortgage company anytime you inquire about loan modification, making homes affordable or to prevent foreclosure.

call from company named Credibility Mortgage saying my lender directed them to call me about my mortgage. Have no idea if that's true, so I have not talked with them any further. .

The call was from a mortage company called Creditbility asking to refinance your mortage.
