My sister received a call from this number 855*236*6520..they claimed that they were with Davis & Cohen...the first guy was asking information about me and said this was regarding check fraud...I havent had a check account in years...So my sister said to him that she has a sister by that name but hung up on him,,she called him back and asked for more information about the company that guy didnt tell her anything and hung up on her..she called me to tell me about it,  First of all, an attorney's office would not call and leave information about someone else with another person..there is a such thing as a privacy act..even debt collectors know that!!
when I called I kept getting the run around about who they were and they also hung up on me..I called the number on the internet 912.236.8000 and spoke to the guy who actually owns the firm Davis & Cohen,,very nice polite guy said that he was aware of the scam and called them himself and they hung up on him after he told them that he was reporting them to the State Attorney Office.  They will tell you that they have companies in Atlanta and D.C. they dont...and if they call you..call them back and harass them for a while..sooner or later, they will get it...

Don't let them worry you. They're nothing but two-bit, insignificant frauds. Just like all their fellow scammers, they're nothing but hot air. Demand written proof of their claims be mailed to you (as per federal law) and then sit back and laugh at their tirades and threats.
When dealing with clowns like them, it's always best to just stay calm and let them talk their way into a hole. Keep in mind that you're dealing with desperate scammers. They'll talk a good line but, once they know you're on to them, they'll crumble. You're talking to an ignorant fool who is counting on his commission to augment his minimum wage. If he was a real person he wouldn't have been driven to fraud to make a living. You're talking to a criminal who is too inept to earn a living at regular crime. So he's left with penny-ante cons to survive. They're nothing. They'll always be nothing.

I got the same call from an Alan Green, also saying they have tried to deliver papers to my house. Its funny, the sheriff never had any difficulty delivering my documents to appear in court. I just let this call go to voice mail. They have used a few different numbers as well, same guy, same company.

I got a call from 404 334 7499. Said the same thing.  It is an Atlanta Georgia  area code.

Same thing!  They said it was for my brother!  How can we report this a***ole?

Just called both numbers and Dan Wetherby answered both numbers! SCAM!

This number I believe is a scam.  Says a loan was taken out on a closed account.  That doesn't even seem possible.  Help?!

I just got the same message!  I think its a scam.  Did they tell you that you owe money?  How much?

I've been rcving calls for years w different numbers all leading back to the same people. They called family n finally my employer. Yes my employer. I can't acted the Ga state attorney general, the FCC, consumer protection and the FBI. FBI since a few times they tried to say they were FBI! The consumer protection sent me a letter from the FBI to give to my employer basically that it's a high level scam. Problem is they have no brick and mortar address. I thought I had them one time but my letter came back to me unclaimed. Figures. I was told they all know about it but can't seem to catch them. Their best advice was don't answer them they will only call more n step up the heat by calling your employer to force you to call n pay. Problem is its never enough payment. They are scam artist at the highest level.

I received a call from 855-877-4386 (David Porter) to call 404-334-7499.  I returned call to David Porter he stated a bench warrant for  (my brother)  I stated he should do his homework, my brother died 2 months ago.

I have received numerous calls from this number. Saying its from a Davis and Cohen law firm. Saying I owe for a payday loan. They want my credit or debit card. I said no and had my granddaughter look into this supposed company! They DON'T EXIST!! It's a total scam. Please be aware of them. Now they have a lady calling me from a supposed company of National process servers. The number is (855)-877-4386. They have said they tried to serve me papers but was unsuccessful. Funny thing because I was waiting with my granddaughter for them to show up. Nobody came now they are calling saying I will have a bench warrant for my arrest if I don't comply. Please be aware and do not give them any information.

This person, David Porter, claims to be from a law firm of Davis and Cohen. However, I get calls from National Processing stating that someone has attempted to issue a warrant to me and this number is completely different. Upon research, the National Processing number is a trach phone which somehow connects directly to a 404-334-7499 phone number which may be a trach phone also. Im so sick of this type of fraud. Im an honest, hard-working individual who does not have the time for this. Plus, it's embarrassing for the neighbors to hear such threatening and harassing calls on our answering machine.

I got the same message and I just ignore it because I dont owe anyone. Funny thing is they call my cell phone and work phone at the same time.   I searched the number (855)877-4386 its a Trac Phone.  they leave a message to call 404-334-7499 which is a female answering while laughing and talking to someone else with music playing.  I just hung up and will ignore the calls myself. They really need to stop playing the next thing I will do is call the attorney general when I find out which state they are calling from.  They wont tell you that information.

I recieved a call from Alan Green from national process servers for the office of Davis & cohen.  He is claiming he tried to serve papers to my home and was not successful and I am supposed to call this number and settle this matter to avoid a 'bench warrant'.  I have NO idea what he is talking about.  They are not calling my home phone, they are calling my work number.  He also does not say who the message is for.
