Scam about there being a problem with my Dell computer.  They want remote access to the machine.  

This company called every hour yesterday from 2 numbers. 404-334-9988 and 404-334-9525. The CLAIM to be computer services from Dell and say they just got notice that there is a computer glitch on my computer. Bad scam. Don't fall for it. They take over your computer remotely and get your info. I don't even have a Dell computer and I was aware of the scam, so they will be blocked. I LOVE call blocking.

They keep calling and do not leave a message. I don't answer any numbers I do not recognize.

I've been getting calls from this number, actually, twice today. Very persistent. The thing is, I've been talking to Alienware (the computer/laptop company) trying to troubleshoot a problem. This number (404-334-9988) calls and says they are from Dell and are ready to help me. I told them I do not have my laptop in front of me and to call back. Dell is Alienware's parent company... weird that they know about my laptop situation...

I guess they have a new scam. Number comes up as Khamur IT solutions, called me three times in one day. I finally answered and thick hard to make out Indian accent said You recently ran a scan on your computer and they see that I have a virus in my PC. I asked them to repeat and they told me they see my pc is infected and they want to correct the problem. I just said "Nice Try"... Click

They have been calling me on my cell and office phone when I told them that I had reported their number and name to the Attornet General BBB and local televisionnewsinvestigators they stopped

I got the same threats along with the promise that an officer was going to come to my work with an arrest warrant
I told them to please send him I'll have the coffe waiting they stopped calling

One important thing to remember if these losers have any of your personal information such as your social security number, date of birth or drivers license make sure you register with identity protection notify the credit agencies as well as your banks!! I'd make sure the bank keeps a fraud watch, and if they need to, they can change your account.

Someone from this # (404-334-9988) called our house today looking for my mom. They told me that she had an outstanding payday loan that she never paid. They also told me that she wrote a fraudulent check, (it was returned insufficient funds) and that she needed to make some kind of payment today by 6:00pm EST. If not they were going to send it to the State of California and issue a warrant. Because my mom was in the hospital I took care of it for her. I offered to make a payment of $100 on the 17th of October and like an idiot I gave them my bank info. I will put a stop on it tomorrow and report them as fraud, but I hope this does not cause future problems for me.

Don't even bother responding to their calls.  They are not worth spit!  They are illegal and there is nothing they can do!

I got the exact sane message with the same GA phone number. He could give me no info on this money I supposedly owe to mycashnow and said they looked up my record and saw I had no previous charges of fraud and that's why they are giving me the opportunity to pay it.  He asked for my phone number and how long I have had the number and when I asked who he was he got belligerent. He said he was an investigator. He wanted money and I told him I'm not paying for something I don't know what it is and got very mad and yelled at me for a few minutes and told me this will be on my credit and hung up in me. I've been contacted by other companies concerning this same thing before and they also could give me no info on what the money I owed. These people need to be stopped!

My wife has been receiving these types of calls on her cell phone, and I have been calling them back and screwing with them as I know they are a scam at best, and dirty, rotten, low life, scum of the Earth third party debt buyers at worst, who are violating federal law via the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  They are the lowest of the low and try to scare people into sending them money, and are doing it by way of extortion.  You CANNOT be arrested for defaulting on a payday loan, even if you once had a payday loan.  The next phone call she receives from these punks, I will warn them one time, and one time only, that I will be purchasing an air horn to make their ears bleed if they dare call another time.  I will also be filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and give them all of the information I possibly can about these scumbags and shut them down!  I might also get a lawyer and sue them for $10 million, which I know I will never see, but it could be a lot of fun!

This is a complete scam!  Just ignore them.  You can't get arrested for a defaulted payday loan.  If they could arrest you, they would just pick you up not keep calling!  If you were getting even a civil summons they would not call you about it.

I received a phone call from 404.334.7070 saying he is from legal mediation. He then transfer me to Vanessa who then told me about a loan call mycashnow.com. She claimed that I took out a loan and never paid for it in 2010 and if I don't pay for it she was going to put out a arrest warrant on me. I told her I never took out a loan, she gave me until 8 that night to come up the money and that they don't take checks and they don't make payment plans. I decided to call the company mycashnow.com and they said they don't have anything under my name. However I did call Vanessa back at 972.961.4916 and ask her for her information, address, company name etc. She said her address is 901 Main St Dallas TX 75202, I looked that up and that address is for a Bank of America building.

Legal mediation, Vanessa, has all my information, I find that very creepy.

I too am getting these horrible calls-last one from 404-382-8637. I also get calls from 360-350-5921 and other numbers-anywhere from Ross Kline and Associates to Rothburg, etc. How can we get these creeps to stop harrassing us and relatives and friends. Some of these have called my husband, my son, and my girlfriend. The freak'n nerve! I really want to get them to stop without having to change my number.  

Oh they  I have fraudulent activity and they have my phone number, SS#, and bank information.

I have been getting threatening messages from 404-334-9988 and the same person called from 313-732-3572.

Left a message regarding possible fraud activity with my bank account. When I called back "agent' Jones began telling me 2 warrents were out for my arrest. When I told her I had received calls like this before and I did not have any payday loans that I had defaulted on, she began telling me I was risking humiliation and arrest and did I really want that. Then I said because I had dealt with this type of thing before, I know record all of my "business matter" phone conversations, she told me that was against the law and that I could not record her. I told her because I had informed her the conversation was being recorded that I could. She hung up on me.

GOT A  CALL FROM 4043349988 SAYS TO CALL HIM REGARDING CHECK FRAUD, WELL HE HAD MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER SAYS I OWE MONEY FROM A CHECK CASHING PLACE WHICH I DONT RECALL NOT PAYING.  SO FROM $490.00 I OWE $1290 AND SAID IF I DONT PAY IT TODAY I WILL GET ARRESTED THIS AFTERNOON! HE SAID I COULD MAKE A SETTLEMENT OF $590.00 TODAY, I ASKED IF I COULD ARRANGE PAYMENTS AND HE SAID NO.  SO I TOLD HIM TO DO WHAT HE GOTTA DO.  HOW IN THE WORLD AM I SUPPOSE TO KNOW THIS IS NOT A SCAM FROM A COMPANY I DEALT WITH BEFORE?? I HAVE NEVER RECIEVED A LETTER IN THE MAIL AND IT HAS BEEN OVER 10 YEARS AGO!

I have received a message from this number saying "the social security number and bank account associated with this phone number have been linked to fraud".  when I call and ask who this is and how they have this information they refuse to answer.  Finally, they said Rossburg Client & Associates or maybe it was Rossburg Kline & Associates.  I could find neither on the internet.  The definitely smells like fraud.  Do NOT give them any personal info.

What i do when get spoof from dummies is i call them them back like10x and and start harssing them. Like pressing one keys done on your keypad on your phone or put something loud where u talk out of and annoy the crap out of these scum bags. And they will stop taking your call and trying call you.

Don't think this has anything to do with the phone service providers, but rather with pay day loan scammers that are using sophisticated phone equipment to "spoof" caller ID names and numbers.  Tonight I received yet another call from "Ross Burg Klein and Associates" only this time from a Florida number 407-433-4998.  Since I have no debt, never took out a payday loan and regularly monitor all of my financial activity, I am not responding to these calls.  In researching the numbers and Pay Day Loan scams, there seems to be a group of individuals who are "phishing" for information for Identidy Theft and/or trying to extort people into paying them via prepaid credit cards.  I have reported all of the numbers to FBI, IC3 as well as elected officials to attempt to stop these harrassing phone calls.

I too have received multiple messages from all of these companies.  I am wondering if there is a common theme.  I have a new ooma phone system and a google voice phone number.  both of these are routed to my line with the problem.  I am wondering if this is related to ooma or google trying to cajole people to purchase the more expensive service which offers blacklist filtering.   Please respond if you have ooma or google voice and have this problem.  I have successfully blacklisted the calls with my "premium" service.

Had been receiving daily calls from 404-719-5221 first identified as "Fidelity National" requesting I call them back with a case # to resolve fraud activity; then after about two weeks suddenly the same number showed a new identity as "Barnett and Biegelman" leaving a recorded voicemail message daily that that there was fraud activity with a bank account and social security # associated with my phone number and it was "imperative" that I call them back to discuss with a "risk assessment" agent to immediately resolve my potential involvement in the fraud.  After about two weeks of daily calls from this number, suddenly the number changed to 404-334-9988 with the exact same recorded message, except now they identified themselves as "Ross Burg Klein and Associates".  After a lenghty and exhaustive search I could find no "Fidelity National", "Barnett and Biegelman" or "Ross Burg Klein and Associates".  All of these calls come from a Sandy Springs Georgia location.  Reported them to the Atlanta FBI office.  I have no debt, never took out a payday loan and both my bank account and social security account are just fine.   Hope the FBI tracks them down.

Keep getting a call from this number, caller ID on work phone says "Legal Mediation" and at the same time they call my cell phone.  Recorded message says something about fraud activity with bank account thats associated with this phone number and ss number.  Don't have a clue what this is about but I am getting very sick of these calls.

Will be reporting them to the FTC.  No such company matches this phone number.  They are a scam and not getting away with it!

Yes, I keep getting this recorded message about fraud activity.  If they had a legitimate claim, they would send it though the mail with their company letter head.  The Caller Id says "legal mitigation". I'm sure they have a way of spoofing that was well.

Called them back from my office (a law firm).  Was quickly told that my number was dialed by accident.  They hung up before I could confirm that my number was being removed from their list.
