After receiving phone call after phone call and suposedly having my number removed I got through to someone.  The number that continuosly calls is 404-335-1749. I acted like I was very interested so to get some real info the real company name is Midwest Preperation Services.  I asked if something went wrong and I needed to get a hold of her again what number would I call she gave me 877-592-9892. The woman I spoke to was Adriana and her extention she said was ex. 601.  After admitting I just wanted this info because I was sick of them calling she obviously hung up on me.  No suprise, so I called the 1-877 number she gave and spoke with another lady after explaining what had happend and how I would like my name and number removed she too hung up on me once again no suprise.  What a great company to deal with by the way all they do is refinance and charge you a crazy origination fee.  So if the calls continue I have nothing but time on my hands and my periodicly call them myself to visit.

No message, was dead. Called on my cell phone I hardly ever use and don't give out.

I have also received several calls from this number and have never heard anything on the other end.  I too am unable to call the number back, just get a busy signal.

They are doing the same thing to me for the past month now. It hasnt stopped and every time they hang up. My caller I.D says Atlanta Georgia. I dont know either how to make it stop. This is a cell phone they are calling. I tried to be rude, call them back and hang up, and asked multiple times to take me off the list.

I got a call from this number today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. The caller ID says Georgia.

Receive repeated calls about my home mortgage, which I have no problems with.  I punch 2 to stop receiving calls but I keep getting them.

7:20 PM 03/19/12, telemarketer call from "INSURANCECO" wanting to sell me some kind of coverage.  As if I would buy from creeps like this.

Recieved an automated call from this number today that said "President Obama" has implimented some kind of Mortgage legislation (blah blah blah) and to talk to a mortgage specialist and take advatage of the benifits - press one - I pressed one and asked what does this have to do with me - I am in CANADA!! - Dumb ***&^%  just hung up - don't even know to whom or where they are calling.  IDIOTS!!

They seem to be using (or masking caller ID with) the following 3 different phone numbers: 404-335-7149, 214-382-7533, and 877.999.7705.  I have received calls from the two non-toll free numbers multiple times.  After watching videos of how the other two people handled this, I'll be contacting all 3 of my local news stations tomorrow to see which ones want to ambush this company.

They keep calling, I press number indicated to be removed. Nothing happends, Press 9 to talk to a live person, they hang up when I tell them I don't own a home.

This number is for modifying your home loan through the Making Home Affordable Program, which by the way, I have already gotten!  I pressed 2 to be taken off of their list, the following day when they called again, I pressed 1 to speak to someone and told them to take me off their list, then I got the call two more days in a row.  Today I pressed one again and asked how they got my "unlisted" phone number, of course they didn't know, and then I ripped her up for continuing to call me, they also use a phone number 801-846-4541.  If you call the 801 number back it goes to what sounds like a fax machine.  If you call the 404 number back, you get a recording that says it's not a working number, even though this is the number that came up on my caller ID.  Funny how they can pester the s__t out of me, but I can't get ahold of them.  When I told the girl that this is now my 5th request to quit calling me along with being on the governments "do not call" list, she hung up on me.  Today I am filing a complaint with the "do not call list" and they had better not call me again.  I think I'll get our air horn and blast it off in her ear the next time she calls, maybe that will put an end to it.

Got a call from 4043357149.  CID shows INSURANCECO.  Didn't answer the phone.

Now this number is for the recording about lowering your interest rate on your home mortgage.  I will report it AGAIN....as I have done a hundred times.  I asked them dozens of times to take me off the list and stop calling.  No one is enforcing the do not call legislation.  No one is going after these scam artists.  All we can do is vent here on this site.....to no avail.

this has to be a scam they say they claim to lower your motgage rates etc. when you call this number it's been discontected they go by the name  insuranceco

Carpet cleaning?? My call from this number was listed as an insurance company, but the message was about adjusting your mortgage payments! Also I am on the do not call list so what the heck!

Caller ID said INSURANCECO, let ring 4 times before I picked up, they hung up.

These types of callers use cell phones with no contracts, simply to avoid being found, but, the company that sets up these callers, can be found and can be prosecuted. Keep reporting the calls, give as much detail as possible. Eventually they will get caught, they will be fined and they will either stop, or keep getting fined. I report every call like this and so far two companies have been banned from making calls in my state. If they make any more, they are prosecuted and it won't be a light fine either. Some states also allow you to file your own suit, which falls under the No Call statutes and makes the company pay you for each time they have called after being told to stop. I believe ours is $500.00 per call.

I never answer calls when I do not recognize the number. This one just showed up on my cell so I DN answer. I am glad as now I read all of these posts going back almost 3 years. I hope they do not call me again since I DN answer. Thanks to everyone for checking them out!

This is a SCAM telemarketing company.

They war dial tons of Robo-Calls for all kinds of services.    I tried to get some info from them, but she gave me fake names and numbers for call back info.

She gave me a toll free number 1-877-592-9892 - this is for a TAX PREPARATION SERVICE called Midwest Preparation Service.

It also came back to some marketing company in Dallas, TX, but it was just an OLD, no longer used number that they failed to take off of their website - that's why it showed up on google when I searched it.    

Just remember, if they're calling you - it's probably a rip off.

Call back this number they called in on and it says that this is a non working or disconnected number.
Just like some scammer to fake a disconnected number....

I received a call from  404-335-7149 selling home refinancing... from an auto dialer! As soon as i asked them how they got my number they hung up!

When they or anyone unknown calls answer the phone in this fashion:

"Centerville Police department, this line is being recorded, how can I help you----- (wait for it)

The repeat if you hear nothing - "Centerville Police department, this line is being recorded"

Then hang up after 15 seconds - THEY WILL NEVER CALL AGAIN ! ! ! ! !

I keep  getting called by 404-335-7149, They say I quailfy for my mortage to be restructured. When I touch 1 I get a rep and they hang up on me. Anybody know who to report it to? I just want the phone calls to stop.

(404) 335-7149 is hitting my celphone 2 or 3 times a day for the last week.

Comcast voice will also allow you to block up to 10 numbers (I think) - but those are quickly used up with all the telemarketers, people calling for surveys, fundraisers, etc.  I am on the do not call list for a reason - I don't want unsolicited phone calls.  sheesh....

call showed up as insuranceco. i answered because it could have been one of my clients. they wanted to sell me a home security system. added the number to my 'blocked calls' list on my phone. jerks. i really wish there was some way to stop them from calling.
