Continuous calls- at all times including weekends I have a long list already

I get a phone call from this Tech Support at least once a day. The caller always says: Please hold we want to verify your address. I don't say anything - I just hang up.

Got a call from some young RUDE girl yesterday wanting to verify my address.  When I asked her why, she just kept beating around the bush.  I told her that I was not going to give her my address!  She told me that she had it anyway!  I said well if you have it, then WHY are you calling me to verify it?!?!?  Then I told her I wasn't verifying anything!  She said..."Then you have have yourself a good afternoon (VERY RUDELY)."  And I told her to have a very good life and hung up on her!  I kept calling the number back this am that showed up on my caller ID (the 404 #) until I got somebody!!  Spoke to another No Brainer; asked for a supervisor (who of course was in a meeting!), but they know how I feel!

HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS STUFF???????

Someone from some tech support company trying to verify our address. I tried to get specific about what services they provide exactly and it was clear they've never worked with us before. I told him to take our name off his mailing list and hung up.

It seems like we get a barrage of calls to "verify" our address right around early spring every year. They always refer to the company by the same slightly wrong name. I wonder who sold our information to these jerks.

Called our business again.  Said they wanted to send information for me to "review" regarding their Tech Support.  I told them we are contracted with another Tech Company and they said, "we don't want to change you just send you information"  please hold while I pull up your file..... I hung up.  If you say "yes" they have you.  Tried to call back to be removed from their calling list and no one answers.

Man asked for my address so they could send the tech support I requested. I hadn't requested any so I told them they had the wrong number (suspicious!!).  Later in the day I received a call from 303-351-0153 with the same type of request.

I just got a call from 404-382-9610.  I said hello and the name of my company. No one answered and after 4 seconds they hung up. I usually repeat myself and say Hello, Hello. Not anymore.

Got a call saying they sell office supplies for business owners,I told her I wasn't interested and Hung up,this in OK.

I received a call from this phone number and some woman said hold the line to confirm my email address.  I just hung up the phone.

Thanks to everyone for all the posts.  Got call today but didn't answer--my usual response.  So thankful for caller ID. and before that *69.  The more savy technology gets to identify the scams the more they proliferate.  I also have received call from 215 220-2343 for "technical support" as noted in another post.  Since my exchange is 215 I did answer that awhile back (but I keep record of all these annoying calls).  So now I am even leary of answering calls in my own area so unless it is identified, I'll let answering machine pick up.  It does pose a problem at times because our number is also a business number as well as personal.

I received this call also this morning .A woman said she is from  tech support and needed to verify my office  address and phone number.She then switched me to a guy before I could say anything.He then asked if my infromation was correct.I said yes,then he said I would be receiving the package in 5 days.I then said what company is this ,I didn't order anything so I'm not signing for your package.He told me there is no charge at the time its for my phone.He then spoke very fast about everything thats in there paper work.Didn't sound good.So I ask what company is this I dont want their crap.He hung up on me.
I called the number back he gave me it was a sex talk number.I hung up! I called the number back that they called me from . I was on hold for 8 min. and hung up.Don't have time for their scam. Please, don't give them any information hang up on them!

This call comes in all the time, at home and in the office(in another state). I just told them< no thank you) and hung up. Said they were calling to verify billing address and tel. # because they were sending me a rebate on my phone bill.

First Call Tech Support and they wanted to verify they had the correct address to send us some information also recieved a call from this #215-220-2343  phila pa also. and something bout a refund. call was breaking up.

This is number five call for the week from various numbers wanting to verify the mailing address.  i told the person was not interested he claimed they was not selling anything, again told him not interested and hung up

Just tell them you'd really like to talk to them, but you're right in the middle of f ' n your pet goat!
These people are scumball bottom feeders. They don't deserve even decency.

Could tell this was from a boiler room right away (don't have Caller ID, but used *69 to find out #).  Someone identified themselves as Nikki.  I hung up.

I keep recieving calls from this number on my home phone and they never leave a message. I finally answered and a fast speaking foreign woman said something about wanting to make sure my address is correct so they can send me a rebate for my phone bill. (witch made NO sense to me at all) I asked her to repeat herself and she spoke so fast I didn't understand her. Then she said hold on and transfered me to an english speaking woman (but still spoke really fast as if she didn't want me to hear what she said) I asked her who is this and very rudely she said "I already told you" then I said what company is this? Then she hung up. I tried calling back was on hold for about 10 mins then an answering service got on and said if you want to be taken off of our calling list just leave your (name, address and phone number) I hung up. They never did tell me CLEARLY what the name of the company was. I'm on the DO NOT call list apperently they don't care. I hope this helps anyone thats recieving calls from this number.

Number came up on caller ID as "Unknown".  They wanted to confirm my address.  I hung up on them.

Apparently, this is a scam!
My husband answered and they said they were something like First Call Tech Support and they wanted to verify they had the correct address to send us some information. My husband asked what the tech support is for and she wouldn't answer.
We got another call that said the exact same thing from California....that number is 408.317.0812. When you try to call these numbers back, it's busy!!
Make sure you don't give them any info!! Best yet, DON'T ANSWER!!!
