This number showed up on my phone bill showing I called this number on 8/10/2013 at 3:03am. When I called the number to see who it belonged to, it said, "your call did not go through please try again later". I've only had the phone turned on for a month & definitely wouldn't call anyone at that hour of the day!!!!

I have received 25+ from this company in the past 3 days. the company is the same (404) 400, but is using multiple extensions, 404-400-1244, 404-400-1232, etc...
I have asked to be taken off the list, as I have never taken or requested a "payday loan," but as soon as you start talking, the automated caller hangs up.
this is insane...

this number calls numerous times a day and never leaves a message. Sometimes they call like 15 times in a hour. extremely annoying.

Just rec'd a call. I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.  How do these people get my mobile phone # - I never give it out.

I too keep getting calls from this number.  I tried calling back to ask to be removed from their call list, but it's a recorded message.  He identifies himself as Chris Harrison--ha!

Unwanted call from Chris Harris about payday loan.  2:00pm 8/23/2013.  He hung up when I asked what company he was with and why he was calling me.

I have been getting non stop calls about every 2 to 5 minutes from this number as well as other international numbers. What is going on? I have never taken out a payday loan or do I every plan to.

I got a call on my cell yesterday. Didn't answer but called it back last night and said no one available to take my call.  It's a scam and I think it might be the same bunch that calls from a land line from Euless, Tx.

I find it odd that these's people call about the last week of each month when you put it all together. They usually call 7 to 11 days before the end of the month and start doing there scam. I had gotten a call few months ago from a different number telling me if I had a lawyer and that I was going to be taken to court for some payday loan that I did not pay back. I ask them why do I need a lawyer and who is this. They refuse to answer what law farm they are calling from and they come out saying they was going to send me paper work about the court and stuff knowing that I am in NY and they was in CA but I find it funny that I am still waiting for those stupid a** paper work to be taken to court knowing that I did NOT even get any type of payday loan at all. Specially when the guy cant even tell me what law farm he was working at or what was the bank acct that was on file at the time when this so call payday loan was given to me. I know I had file out a payday loan online but once it gotten to the bank acct info that is when I decide to close the window down so really I never gotten any type of payday loan duo to I never gave my bank acct info when it was being fill out lol. But it is kind of stupid cause when that guy call me I did not even pick up the phone. He left me a message to call him back but I chouldnt understand what he was saying so did but I had use a different phone number. He said he chouldnt talk to me on that other phone it had to be the phone number that was put on the application so decide to switch phones and that was when he decide to tell me about the court and if I had a lawyer but he chouldnt even asnwer me a few simple questions to begin with  which I find it weird. Also this had happen to me with the court thing when they said that they was going to take me to court over 6 months ago and also over a year ago and that they was going to send paper work to my house and all this crap but I NEVER gotten anything to go to court so knew right there it is a scam few people also told me it was a scam after I explain it to them what had happen over the phone. Lol

It is a guy name Chris Harris that have this number of 404-400-1244 and he also have another number of 1-815-687-8555. Only reason I am saying this cause the 404 number they call me one time today but didnt pick up. Then the 815 number call me up and the guy said his name was Chris Harris and stuff and I told him do NOT call me again. So I decide to call up that 404 number to see who it was to find out that it was the same damn person of Chris Harris. It was NOT for a payday loan but it was some type of scam. Someohow they have to many different numbers they chance it ether monthly or daily or weekly. So really they do NOT have the same number for long.

I said "Well, we are not struggling so please take us off your call list."

Said that I have a messy payday loan and wanted to help me.  Now that Osama has been found and dealt with, maybe we can redirect some of those resources into finding these scum, put a round in their hollow heads and dump them in an ocean somewhere.

I've been getting pretty much non stop calls from this number as well as other spoofed numbers that are not real. It started at 8:36 this morning and has not stopped. SO, what did I do when I looked up all the numbers and found them to be fake or scammers? I answered the phone, and didn't say anything, just started banging my phone on the metal chair I have sitting next to the phone. Nice loud metal banging in their ear. I could not find my whistle, otherwise, they'd get an earful of that. I used to use my dog's No Bark whistle. they would get a nice loud ear testing every time they called. I do not give out my home number, I have it only to get a discounted package with my services, so I know it is not anyone calling that I want to talk to.
I think it's time to go get another air horn.

This person has called me 3 times as well. I never answer. If anyone can tell me how  to stop this I would appreciate it.

They called me today and said "this is Chris Harris, how are you today? My response was Pain and he hung up. Hmmm very weird..

Just called and made a complaint.

i got a call from 404 400 1244  also havnt called it  becuse i seen others have gotten and called this number  as well  and havnt gotten through

I'm guessing a call from this number on my phone is related to two others from 140 440-1244. I left all calls unanswered.

Call from Chris Harris, asking about my (non-existant) payday loan.

He's got a great voice ( and perhaps face ) for radio.

My reply was "I'm not that stupid to take out a payday loan" and he promptly hung up.

With today's Obama economy, I suspect he is not having any difficulty finding new customers.
