I have been through several phones that have been hacked. This number showed up on my T-mobile number on a pre-paid account. Could you please let me know how to resolve these issues?

Yes, there are some other numbers that TMobile is having issues with.  You are not alone!  I called them and they have a ticket into it and trying to see what this is about.

Our bill reflected 26 messages from this number for the October billing cycle, though neither of our phones ever actually received these messages. T-Mobile says that they will have a technician look into the source of the number, as well as whether or not our phones received the messages, as their records apparently indicate that our phones did receive them.

I am on T-Mobile as well and I was charged for 4 messages from 206-313-0023 and 404-455-0007 from Oct 8 thru Oct 19.

I don't recall getting these messages as well.

Called T-Mobile and logged a case.  Initially, the person I spoke to would not even acknowledge the issue.  Had to talk to a supervisor to log the case and get credit for these 6 messages!

We got 11 charges for the 0023 number and another from 007

We have two phones on the t-mobile account and neither of us Text at all

And like others have said none of the texts showed up on the phones.

We've been with T-Mobile since they became T-moble and this has never happened before. But if they try to make us pay for this crap they can put their phones where the sun don't shine.

You can call T-mobile to block the text message. The other number I got was from 206-313-0023. We got around 30 plus from these two numbers.

I am not a text message user, at least not in general. The most text messages I have ever used - sent and received is 24 in the past 12 months. So far, in October, I have charges for 52 text messages. I have received approximately 8 messges and sent 4, as they are still on my phone. T-mobile told me that all 52 texts are valid and they show that I received them or sent them from my phone. My only options they said are to completely block ALL messages, call the people sending me messages and tell them to stop, or purchase their message package. I do not want to block ALL messages, because I use messaging on rare urgent occasions. I can't "call" the people because I am not RECEIVING the message on my phone, and my bill only states T-mobile routing numbers - 206-313-0023 or 404-455-0007 (not the origin of the message). I am not paying $4.95 for texting when my per usage fee has never been more than $2.60. When I called they basically said I was delusional and that it is impossible to be charged for a text that was not received or sent from my phone. I am filing with the BBB and contacting the Washington State Attorney Generals office. I smell class action on this one. It seemd to be affecting the Seattle area specifically beginning in October 2008. Oh - and I should contact that KING-5 guy "JESSE".

T-mobile gave me a credit for 50 text messages, and I have not received any more since my complaint. I saw on one website that the message charges were connected with calling voice mail. I then looked at my bill and more than 30 out of the 52 test message charges were at the same exact time that I dialed my voice mail. It looks like the glitch is charging a text for accessing voice mail. I hope it is fixed. I ended up blocking all messages and hopefully in a month or so, it will be fixed. All I can say for T-mobile customer service is that it f%@$(ng sucks bunghole. I have found that with all providers of cell service, because they know our hands are tied. They kept telling me sorry that "I believe the texts are not mine" or "that I feel I did not receive the messages". Lastly - my mom who is 64 and has blocked sms because she does not even know how to open or send one had 7 charges on her phone. Good luck to all!

I had t-mobile block them however they are still coming through.  Per t-mobile only thing to do is change phone numbers.  Also, the many people I spoke to at t-mobile today and there were many stated it is they first they have heard of this problem.  I am worried that since no messages are actually coming through on my phone that whatever this is, is getting my personal info.  anybody else know?

I received a significant number of sms charges on my last bill from someItalian number (393358822500). I also don't know anything about the number or source of it.
My problem is that although my bill suggests that I had received these messages, they never actually appeared on my phone.
It would be one thing if I had received messages and was disputing whether I read them or not but in this case, I never actually recieved them and TMobile is charging me for them.
Some other bogus numbers I am having the same problem with are from Taiwan (88693600160 and 88693600161). I have literally dozens of supposed messages from these other 2 numbers per my bill but I never received anything on my phone.
I called TMobile and they informed me that all the messaging charges are 'valid' because their system indicates I received them. "That's ridiculous", I said because I know I did not recieve them.
I disputed this with the customer service rep and asked to speak to a manager... after a short hold, I was told one would get back to me in 2 to 48 (that's right... 48!) hours. 48 hours is 6 shifts of their call center!
Something with their system is making an error and they are trying to dodge me in acknowledging it.
Do they block known spam #'s? If so, they are possibly blocking them from getting to me but charging me anyway.
Anyone else have similar experience?

i also had 21 texts from 206-313-0023 and 404-455-0007 in october none of which were received on my phone. after reading all these posts most of them correlated to a voicemail retrieval time. i called tmobile who explained that the number is a dummy number for messages either outgoing or incoming while on a non-tmobile network in which tmobile doesn't have all the information it needs to identify the number or some mumbo jumbo. they also stated that since my sim card received the data that i will be charged for these texts. i was irritated because this erroneous charge is obviously a problem they need to fix on their end. every time i mentioned the possibility of a computer glitch, i was promptly corrected that it is NOT their issue nor an error in billing. only when i threatened to close my account and use a different carrier were the charges removed. i was also told that this was a one time COURTESY. next time, i will switch carriers.

I'm actually disappointed that this is still an issue for so many customers. T-Mobile always talks about striving to deliver the best possible customer service. If policy was followed, things would definitely run much smoother all around. Unfortunately there are definitely representatives who feel that these policies don't apply. We have one specific policy regarding a T-Mobile internal website, StreamLine which we are supposed to read every day (time is allotted in our schedule for this).

For those who are still having problems with representatives who are unaware of this issue, TELL THEM TO LOOK IN STREAMLINE. Referencing "StreamLine" will get the representative's attention as it is only available to T-Mobile employees (it is strictly internally accessible). TELL THEM "IT IS A CURRENT BILLING ISSUE REGARDING USAGE." Also reference the exact title: "Duplicate SMSs from the Numbers 206-313-0026 and 404-455-0007 (10/29)" Using this path, the representative should be able to find the article in our knowledge base directly and without further hassle to you.

Although I have not taken any calls regarding this issue, I do sincerely apologize for those affected. As I said before, I know how I would feel if the issue was affecting me. This is why I'm now trying to make sure that no one else gets the run-around with this.

Some representatives won't know about this issue if they haven't specifically read this article. Hopefully using this you will be able to direct the representative where they need to go to find the relevant information. Again, I apologize for those affected as well as those who have been unable to get the issue resolved.

Best wishes once more,

Michael R.

Hey I got both of these numbers on my bill too! $4.00 worth of text messages that I am being charged for that I do not approve of. Not much, but to a college student such as myself it is, so WTF is going on? I called T-Mobile and they are "going" to remove the charges and Block all incoming and outgoing text messages,..what a mess I hope no one actually pays for this.

These numbers show up on our bill as text messages received. Both numbers - 206-313-0023 and 404-455-0007 but they never show up as texts on the phone.  How do we stop this?? We are T-Mobile customers in the Greater Seattle area.

I blocked all texting last month, and since then I have gotten many 'over minute charges' when I have been no where near over minutes.

I have called multiple times on this, and I get a mix of "known issue" and "You haven't gone over, so you won't get charged".

I just got a bill for 300 dollars, my typical bill is 60 dollars.

I am pissed, and will be calling Tmobile to give them a piece of my mind now.

For those who blocked messaging, they are charging you 40 cents a minute instead of the 20 cents per message.  Love it, embrace it.

Just took the painless route and used t-mobile to chat with a t-mobile customer rep (hate being on hold on phone). I mentioned the knowledge-base article that Michael R. pointed out in this forum "Duplicate SMSs to the Numbers 206-313-0026 and 404-455-0007". She did some research on her side and said that their technicians have resolved the issue starting Oct 24'th 2008. She reversed the charges on my account for the 25 text-messages that were showing from these numbers.

Too bad that t-mobile wouldn't proactively reverse the charges and need us to call them.

I was charged for 3 messages two from 404-455-0007 (oct 21st)and one from      206-313-0023 (oct 11th) . However, I never received any messages. I called T-mobile and they told that my cell received them. I argued a bit and they checked my IME no. and told that I received the messages. I finally had to block all text messaging from my phone. No credit was given. T-mobile sucks. They should identify the problem and block the number.

One of my lines received texts from both numbers mentioned above to the total of $35, though I blocked all text messages last month before this all started! I called tmobile to take care of this, they seemed completely unaware of the problem, put me on hold forever and agreed to take off the charges. They said that if I hadn't of blocked texts last month they would have made me pay. The problem seems to have resolved on Oct. 23rd at least for my acct. If they won't credit yours, send them here and then threaten to cancel(it worked for me in the past)
