Actually, I never received the call from this number. An individual named Chris Smith is tied to this number. He contacted my aunt, who called me in a panic about whatever this guy was claiming as a check fraud investigation. She gave me the number and I called him back and asked him what he wanted. He told me it was from some loan that I had taken out but this loan was settled back in June of 2010. I told him that I had the documentation to prove that it was settled and paid. He requested that I fax it to him and he gave a fax number (which was probably fake). He also left a voice message with my supervisor who also freaked out. I then find out that he called my dads house and left a message there threatening that he was going to send out a service warrant in my county and that he hated to do it and said that it was because he never received my fax. I sent the fax at 12:54 p.m. (PST) and 1:34 p.m. (PST) and the confirmation came back that it was sent (to the fax number that was probably fake to begin with). I then called the settlement company that assisted me and they assured me that it was a scam. The company was so nice to send me another confirmation of the settled account along with the name of the bank and the check number that was used to pay the debt. I don't like that they can continue to harass people like this. This is the second time that this particular company tried to sell the debt to get more money from me. I think that it is super crazy and stupid. Is there somewhere that I can complain about this person and this company for harassment?

there suppose to be a investigation firm but what it really is is a collection service that bought an account for little of nothing then try to collect what is owed on the account there not profissional at all told me that they hope my wife goes to jail and another gurl take her as her gurl friend and licks her p**sy i bout went right field on them there not a real company

This number called me several times, but after I did not answer the call they proceeded to call my ex-wife of 10 years and my parents telling them that they were from the fruad department and that there would be a warrent out on me if I did not pay. I called this number back, said that I had taken a pay day loan out over the internet, Ace Cash Express. She wouldn't give me any other information. She asked me to verify my SS#, when I said that I would not give that out over the phone she, Ashley Mathis, hung up on me.

I GOT A CALL FROM A INVESTIGATOR ASHLEY MATHIS OUTTA GA, SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT FRAUD. LIKE WTF??? DOES ANYBODY KNW ANYTHING???

I RECEIVED A CALL THIS MORNING, THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE AN INVESTIGATOR FOR FRAUD DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA IF THIS IS FOR REAL?

Yea I just got a call from the same number today. Said I have fraud for bad checks. I don't even write checks. But last week I got the same call from a diff number. This number is from GA. And the app on my phone said it's unsubscribed or a cell phone. You would think that if some one was calling about a situation like what you and I both experianced that it would come from a ligit company. Not a cell phone. But I'm not sure what to say. As of right now I'm leaning torwards fruad.
