I have received numerous calls (very early in the morning) about my son stating he has or will have a warrant out for his arrest based on a traffic ticket.  After third call yesterday, December 19. 2013, I stated it has been resolved. Her mannerism was as if I was not telling the truth and I told her I have proof. She called again telling me she has received notice that the payment was not cleared and my son is going to be arrested immediaitely. After back and forth I finally told her this is upsetting me and I have health issues and I did not need this worry. She got off the phone after trying to pin down a time she can call back after my follow up.  She was rude and demanding in a disrespectful way, as if my son is a cpmmom criminal with intent to defraud the state of GA. I further stated I have no proof of what sheis saying and will find out for myself.

Bogus phone call. Lady was rude and would not tell me who, or what she was calling about. I would not tell Her anything, so she hung up. She had my old married name, and a name of some hirl I don't know,  but this girl had my new last name(remarried). It was strange.

Woman called using my old married name. I am remarried so I knew it wasn't meant for me, or these people would be up to date. They asked if I knew so and so... that person's last name DID match my new married name. Weird! I just said I didn't know that person(I didn't). I knew something was up. She never even got to the part about who or what she was about because I badgered her first and she wouldn't give me any information. Called was ended by her, not me.

I just receied a call from this lady from this number.  She said that if I didn't pay 211.32 for a ticket that I cannot remember receiving I would be arrested.

Recieved a message from this number looking for someone I dn't know, or maybe i do, but its hard for me to tell, when in one breathe she gives 3 different names. Then says that she works for the city of atlanta and centinel probation and says that she is about to make a decision that will change my life.....Naturally i call back and someone answers and says ARSS and when i googled they are a dept recovery company....

Received a call from this number looking for someone I didn't know. The lady that called said her name was Ms. Taylor, I asked her how did she get my number she became very nasty and rude. I asked for her supervisor, she threaten me by saying " You don't want to go there with me". Who ever these people are, they are the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered by phone. She stated she was calling from the Atlanta Municipal Court.

I work for a debt collector and I just received a call from somebody at this number.  I couldn't answer but he did leave a message.  He said it was REGARDING Municipal Court of Atlanta (not that he worked for them) and a friend of mine.  He said my friend's name and he knew my name.  So that was not misrepresentation but that was 3rd party disclosure on a voicemail that he knew was not the right party contact.  As always I look up numbers I don't know and came across all of these complaints.  I'm going to let my friend know about the message but I am going to file a complaint against them as well.

They said it was a dekalb county matter. They left it on my recorder at home. Probably a ripoff. Go get a job at walmart quit trying to scam people

I was a sceptic at first too, but upon research I have determined that they are partnered with Sentinel Offender Services and they handel WARRANTS for violations of probation. Once I realized this they were professional and helpful in resolving my case.

I started receiving phone calls from this number about 6 weeks ago. Stating that I owe a water bill from a previous address since 2003 in the amount of $152.00. I told him that I moved from that address over 12 years ago but he kept insisting that I still owe the bill and if I don't pay it, they will deduct it from my social security check. As of Saturday, October 26th. I received another phone call and He, I guess whomever a Mr. O'Connor left a message and said that if I didn't call him by 10/31//2012 the money will be deducted from my social security check The extension he left is 5514. I am sick and tired of these calls.

I cut them off by stating, "Please mail me any information concerning, I will not discuss such matters over the phone. Thank you," , then hung up and contacted The Disabled Veterans Association of America. I hope this helps.

Yes Wendy I am interested in being part of the class action suit, I was contacted today they left a message at my old job saying i had a warrant out for arrest for internet fraud and bad checks from 2009 from a bank I never heard of. I requested to fax me paper work showing this the lady got hostile saying don't worry we are going to send it to the judge and hung up on me. My daughter called back and requested the fax she told her to tell me to be a lady and called myself and stop stealing and she hung up again.

Sounds like it's probably past the statute of limitations.  Send them a FOAD letter.

Same thing happened to me, except i called the courts and did not pay.  Turns out I am not right person.  They google names looking for anyone to pay.  I am Wendy Corry, 41 years old, they were looking for Wendy Walters 24 years old.  Sounds like similar thing with you.  I am going to file a class action suit.  IF You are interested in being part of it let me know.

I keep getting calls from this number 404-564-3639 saying they have a warrant for my arrest if I do not pay a bill.  They are asking for Wendy Walters OR Wendy Corry.  I am Wendy Corry.  I am 41 a business owner with NO tickets, Wendy Walters is 24 and apparently forgot to pay a bill.  I spent an entire day on phones with City of Atlanta trying to find out if I was a victim of identity theft or what, seems I was not and this was NOT me they were trying to collect from.  I received an apology from manager at Collection agency and assurance it would not happen again, one week later, they start calling, a different person this time.  I try to explain situation and the lady gets lippy with me, again saying I am going to be arrested.  This needs to stop I want to file a class action suit as it is wasting my time from my company I am trying to run.  Please send me your info if you had a similar situation or are an attorney who deals with this sort of thing. She said she was "agent someone"

Soooo... what did you do?  I just received a call about an investment property I owned over six years ago.  They are asking for about $135.

i moved from DeKalb County to California. I got a letter from ARSS about a year later saying I owed this enormous bill to DeKalb County Watershed. A pipe had bursted in front of the place I was renting the day after i moved out. the watershed didn't contact me, they sent a $938 bill directly to ARSS. they wouldn't tell me anything about my account--said i had to go thru ARSS. i had to pay half of the bill for ARSS to even look the details of the account and investigate the claim from DeKalb County Watershed. after the headache of proving to them that it was THEIR (the watershed) pipes that busted (not the property owner's responsibility), it was determined i was owed a refund. i paid half of the $938 bill in February 2012. As of May, they had not processed the payment to DeKalb County Watershed--not one cent of it. I filed a complaint with BBB (and called ARSS everyday about sending my money back). Mr./Ms. Huston are aliases. The rep I talked to slipped and told me his real name, Lyn McPier. Anyways, they FINALLY sent the $$ to DeKalb county watershed in JULY! a whole 5 months later!! The Watershed, thankfully, called me and told me they owed a refund to me. They sent it out--to the wrong address (smh). I called after a couple of weeks had passed by--the check had came back to them--but no one called to tell me that. Anyways, they resent the refund check to me and the account is FINALLY closed out as of mid-August. But wouldn't you know, today, i saw a missed call from ARSS (i know their number very well smh again). I called back to see what the problem is. The girl answered "ARSS may i help you". I responded, "yes, i missed your call and i'm returning it." she hung up on me. i called back (just in case the call was "dropped" by accident), she picked the phone up and just hung up again. I waited 10 minutes, called back, she answered "ARSS", giggled, and hung up.
NOW i'm ready to file harassment charges against these a***oles. btw, the BBB said my complaint was completed--the currently have an A- rating with BBB. absolutely ridiculous! they are a company for sure, but they have no policy in place to provide refunds IN CASE they have a bogus claim from the company who reported you to them. they have nothing in place to rectify the issue for the consumer---when the consumer proves to be right.

These jerks have been calling me daily claiming to represent DeKalb County about an alleged water bill of $300 from 8 years ago which I emphatically deny.  They have been instructed to send me proof of what they are claiming, and to not call me again.  They send nothing, and continue calling at all hours, and today have called twice and hang up when I answer.  It is harassment, plain and simple.

These people called me, and stated it was AGENT who ever trying to collect a water bill from Dekalb County????They are located at 2001 MLK Drive accross from Westview Cemetaey. Its a glass bld. about 4 stories Tall. You can see the office along I20.
