I received a call from this number and the lady said, 'LET ME CALL YOU BACK" and hung up.  I am about to call it back.

It was some woman saying I could have free cruises as long as I told my family and friends.  I told her I didn't like cruises and since then I've received lots of phone calls from the phone number sometimes with multiple parties on the line.  I have shopped at Target recently.  :(

I Get About 2 Calls Aday For Almost A Week Now, Ive Answered Each Time And Nobody On The Other End So Obviously There Just There To Bug U With The Ring Ring. I Came Here To Check The Number And I. But Do I Get A Hello This Is So And So, No I Only Hear 2 Gentleman Which Im Assuming Are Only Children From The Way The Business Call Center Is Run, Talkung And Laughing In The Backround.... They called me today around noon & said I filled out a paper for a free windows tablet and I won. I didn't fill anything out! But somehow they knew my full name & where I lived! Real sketchy & creepy, don't know how they got all of my info.

I don't answer calls if I don't know who they are... They don't leave a message so it's not for me..... More than likely it isn't for me because all my bills are paid... I don't live like Joneses and who are they any way.... If collectors are calling that means they paid y'alls bills for you... How nice of them.... Now it's their problem not yours... LOLOLOLOL....

called as unknown name. didn't answer.  some searches showed it might be a "politican" number.

Got many calls from 404-567-7398 and they always hang up.  I don't get it.  I tried calling the # back and always get a fast 'busy signal' .... which I've always taken as an 'out-of-order' signal.

Just a thought.. I recently feel prey to a scam from "I love Subway" . I filled in my phone # to get the $100 subway card and the next day I get a call from this number.......... Hmmmmmmm.  Anyone else have a similar problem?

I RECEIVE CALLS FROM THIS # AT LEAST 1-2 TIMES A DAY..THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE..YOU CALL BACK IT STATES "BCR" AND RECORDING SAYS TO PRESS 1 IF YOU RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE # AND 2 IF YOU KNOW YOUR ACCOUNT#..THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE SO I NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE

They called me and left no message, so I don't have a clue who this could be.

They called and left a voice mail. I checked the voicemail and it said, "Please call BCS at..."

They call me every day at least 3 times a day. I've been trying to figure out who the hell it is... so weird

It seems (by the calls I've gotten) to be one of those companies who buys "zombie debt" and tries to collect on it (zombie debt is extinct debt that has often been sold to such entities at pennies on the dollar and usually has ALREADY been written-off the taxes of the original holder). They call themselves "Bureau of Collection Services" or BCS. They also call from a D.C number of (202) 607-2733 (or similar).  The Federal Trade Commission says it is illegal for them to try and collect a debt that is more than 4 years old (see FTC.gov). Hope that helps. PS - CA residents can file suit for free for them breaking the rules... just look for one of the many CA law firms that specialize in going after unscrupulous collectors.

Caller-ID comes up as Unknown Name...like we don't know why?  More and more scammers are out in full bloom.  Little do they know that their scheme is short-lived.

IF THIS IS BCR THE COLLECTION AGENCY THEN THEY DO CALL FROM DIFFERENT AREA CODES BECAUSE I RECIEVED THIS NUMBER TODAY ASKED WHOSE NUMBER IT IS ONLINE AND IT CAME UP AS BCR COLLECTIONS AND YESTERDAY HAD ONE FROM A 603 AREA CODE AND IT WAS ALSO LISTED AS BCR COLLECTIONS ON HERE. WHAT IS UP WITH THE DIFFERENT AREA CODES FOR THE SAME COMPANY. WITH THIS ECONOMY THE WAY IT IS AND WE ALL BEING BROKE FROM IT WHY CANT THEY LEAVE US ALONE TILL WE CAN ALL GET BACK ON OUR FIT TO PAY OUR BILLS I'VE HAD IT NOT ANSWERING NO MORE CALLS.

Yep, its BCR. I called back, and got a recording after they called my house at 8:59 in the evening.  Decided to try to talk to somebody, hit "2" per the menu....phone rang off the hook.  They never leave a message, and we have no idea what they are calling about.
