Wow!.U are absolutely right. My child hasn't been since following up on some dental work last year and they are still calling me every week. It is harassment if u look at it. So I made one more appointment on Monday for a check up on Friday and they have called me 3x to remind me. I finally said "do u know u have called and reminded me 3x already?" and all I got was "I'm sorry ma'am, this is just a reminder for ur appt. on Friday." Ridiculous!

That place is horrible to work for. The managment is lacking basic knowledge,and the dentists are unprofessional and rude. They will run you to death,and screw up your paycheck. they abuse children to make a bonus

koolsmiles doesn't care about their patients. they only care about bonuses based on how many patients they can complete in a day

OMG!!! I thought that I was the only one that these crazy nuts were calling and harrassing on a daily basis.  These people are driving me crazy with these daily phone calls from their stupid calling machine.  They claim that it is just a "reminder service" to let you know about your upcoming appt., but that is not true, even when I don't have an appt, THE IDIOTS STILL CALL!  This is borderline harrassment and it needs to stop. I had a feeling that if I went to the internet, I would find other complaints about this company, and low and behold!!!!  I, like you, took my son to kool smiles ONE time to get a root canal, ONLY because my regular dentist didn't do root canals on children. I see now that it was the worse mistake ever.  His root canal is now done and now they won't stop calling me.  I have NO plans to take my son back to them EVER!  Now I just want them to stop calling me everyday.

i work for kool smiles and cant stand the place. they over work us and pay us hardly anything. its not just the patients that get treated like crap. us dental assistants do too.

Got a call from this number, but didn't reach the phone in time.  Called back, it's Kool Smiles.

However, I called my local Kool Smiles and explained that this number keeps calling me claiming to be from Kool Smiles.  My local KS said that NOBODY should be calling unless it's from their office or your local office to conifirm an appointment.

I did further research on this number (as much as I could) and have found that this is a land line number in Atlanta, GA, phone provider is Southern Digital Network, Inc. DBA Fdn Comms, however that company was bought out by NuVox Communications (800-672-1450).

If you continue to receive harrassing calls from this number, report them along with any other evidence if possible (times of calls, number of times they call, etc.) in a police report and the police will do further investigation and track down this number and owner. If I can gather anymore information I will gladly pass it along. I've been receiving harrassing calls from Kool Smiles (I've never even been there before) for about 3 months now and I'm sick of it!

get calls from this number all the time and dont want to call it back because i am not sure it is the number for Kool Smiles.  It never rings more than once and i would think if it was a reminder system it would leave a message or something.

they really are nuts! we should all file a legal complaint!

I went to kool smiles in Baltimore MD and was told that I have 8 cavities. Since I have never had cavities before, I got a second oppinion and was told that I DO NOT HAVE 8 CAVITIES. They are desperate for money!!! Kool smiles has not stopped calling me since then which is about 2 months ago, and they are driving me nuts! When I hear a message from them I feel like throwing the phone down!! I am a mother of 4 and have lots of patience but they have pushed me to my limit and beyond!!
Hope the go out of business soon.

one month ago i took my child to kool smiles, the women that took x-ray said that the teeth on the said were coming out too, that recomends to take the out so i avoid to come back in two weeks. Trusting in her knoledge i said it is ok. Teeth are not coming, and the one that was the only reason i went to take it out is coming out on the worng way because of the missing tooth she recomended to take out. I call to complaint to the 8664385665 and explain the situation  they tall me  that someone will call me back, (no call back yet) so i decided to go to the local, where  i took  my child. I complaint to te manager, she try to be nice  and wash my brain saying that she understand my frustraiton, and she try to build a logic explanation for what the women that took the x-ray  recommend to take the other teeth out, and say that she just try to explain in her own way what doctor said about it.I told her that if someone has no knolwledge just keep that mouth close.Probably you can said that anyway those teeth will grow up, but is not that only, my child will  confront other kids that will laugh of him and he will loose self steam, that is my fear. I know i can try to explain to him no to listen to them but at the end he'll decide to who he will listen, i wish that will be me. PLESE IF HAVE COMPLAINTS LET THE PEOPLE KNOW. THANKS

it is Kool Smiles, I've talked to them before. But this time I couldn't answer the call & I did not reconize the number. And your right, they DON"T leave a message. At least not with a voice. I ahve 71/2 minutes of nothing, breathing & movement.

This is MY story and opinions regarding Kool Smiles:

I took my kids to Kool Smiles ONE time and we HATE that place! I now have my kids seeing another dentist who is awesome! Kool Smiles continues to call my cell phone and harass me almost on a daily basis(sometimes a few times a day!) even after I have told them numerous times to STOP calling me and delete all of our info from their system! I have continued to receive these harassing calls for months now! Every time I speak to Kool Smiles regarding this, they make up some stupid excuse like I'm an idiot or something! I'm seriously thinking about pressing harassment charges on them if they continue to call!
I'm also not the only one who HATES Kool Smiles! Just do a search for problems with Kool Smiles and you will see what others across the US have to say about them!
Our wonderful new dentist said he has many patients that have come to him after being seen at Kool Smiles, and they say horrible things about how they were treated etc! I'm not alone!
Somebody needs to shut these people down! They shouldn't be allowed to touch another child EVER!

this is Kool Smiles Dentist because I have spoken to them as reminders for check ups and such but its been a while since I lived in the state that had Kool smiles and I still get that call....

I can tell you with 100% certainty that the number is from Kool Smiles central call center in Atlanta, GA.  When you call the office to schedule an appointment, you think you're talking to someone at the office down the street because the advertised number is a "LOCAL" number - well, it's not really.  You're actually talking to someone in Atlanta, GA. They're only job is to schedule appointments and confirm appointments. (They will also transfer you to the actual office located near you if you have any dental related questions that they can't answer)  And if the call center doesn't speak with anyone directly or forgets to change your appointment status to confirmed, they will keep calling right up to the time of your appoinment.  This is a huge complaint from many of Kool Smile patients.  Also, if you're going to be late for an appointment, nine times out of ten the office never gets the message and will try to reschedule you because you were late... so the next time you go the office, just ask them for their direct (back door) number so you can deal with them directly.

It is definately KOOL Smiles i got a call from them to remind me of my son's appt.

This is indeed a  reminder call from Kool Smiles. Apparently their home base is out of GA because I live in VA. They don't leave a message because need to know if you are going to keep your appointment.

Doubt that it's Kool Smiles b/c they don't have affiliates in Northern VA & I've gotten 2 calls/day for the last couple of days.

That is a phone number from a system that does appointment reminders for Cool Smiles Dental.
