got a call today from this number and have no idea who they are  want them to stop calling

I got a call to. No message. called the number back and got a full mail box

Received three calls yesterday and, so far, four today. I never answer a number that I don't know. Wish they'd stop or that someone could shut them down. My number is on the do not call list.

This number called me 7 times in an hour!  Of course I missed it every time, but then when they called again I answered and asked them nicely to remove me from their data base.  The guy I spoke with asked me why I wanted to me removed and I told him that he called me 7 times that morning and he said "I didn't call you at all, this is the first time I am calling".  He was very rude and said that I shouldn't request information if I don't want to be called.  I asked him where he was calling from and he laughed and hung up.  Awesome!

Who is this calling me?

I am not sure of the reason they would be calling, I would assume that it might be a scam in trying to get you to sign up for college.  I received calls from them starting at 1:16pm and then again at 2:36pm,5:26pm,6:45pm and 7:18pm.......so ridiculous!  I will be calling the Attorney General and also the Better Business Bureau.  I am not going to answer and they better stop calling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received 17 call from this damn number today the woke me up along with my little boy so Chandler S i would like to take you up on the civil case.

I just started recieving these calls today  and they've already called me  like 6 times. They call me and i dont answer and they call back like 2 minutes later  and then they stop for a couple hours and then do the same thing again....getting really annoying.But after reading everyones comments  im going to continue not answering.

ok so here is another theory, i was recently visiting family in another state, and i happened to call up a friend i hadn't seen in a long time, on her i phone or whatever it was there was an app for getting points on prank calling people, the number they call from does not show up on ur phone when they call u, idk i just started getting these calls right when i got back from visiting, so it made me wonder if that's where it's coming from.

My boyfriend has received calls from this phone number a few times today and I told him I would look it up for him.  He said he tries to call back and the mailbox is full.  He drives mass transit, and they keep calling.  How do we stop this?  We are already on the do not call list, so that doesn't help.  Can anyone help.  Who could we report this number to so that there is some action done toward this person?  I am willing to call anyone I need to after reading all the others who have had this same problem with this idiot...

Well, 4 calls yesterday and 3 so far today - and it's just 2:15 in the afternoon!  Called the number back and STILL getting the 'box full' message!  Somebody has just WAY TOO MUCH time on their hands!

I just yesterday started getting calls from this number.  Luckily, I was at work and cannot have my phone on me so I only saw the missed calls.  Three calls were 10-20 min. apart.  No message.  When I tried calling the number later, I got the box full message.  Went to take a shower and came back to find 4 missed calls!  Tried to call back once more and same message.  I now know to just ignore these calls when I see them.

From this  number somebody has been calling me and asked for my son. He's a manor and I m worried! I have no idea what thy want.

Received a call from them and there was a garbled number posted:V05041759210454 and then it would change to the phone number of 1-404-845-7483.  I called it back and received the famous 'voice mailbox is full...try again later.'  I've been on the 'do not call' listing for two years - this is ridiculous!  It seems like I'm getting a new influx of these kinds of calls every week or so.  Oh well, it's their 'nickel' so to speak.

I asked the person to remove me from their data base after calling me 7 times in an house!  They gave me an attitude about it, but I haven't heard back from them since!  Thank goodness!

The phone company does not sell your phone number thats rediculous....yes other companies you give your number to may or may not sell them but not your cell phone provider.  Also you cant be charged for a call made to your phone unless its very obviously from out of country
and i dont know how you say you dont need a telephone weve survived for hundreds of years with out them....we also didnt have jobs requiring there use and reasons to use our cells on a daily basis....anyway even if u are charged what your claiming by the phone company...you can easily contest this when your bill comes and they will fix it. finally they dont just track you for no reason...god you have some paranoia going on man

Pls stop calling my number and laughing and then hanging up. This is getting annoying and I want it to stop now!  If you are a business, talk and say what the call is in reference to or just stop harrassing me before I report this no. to the police.

He called and ask for my 16 year old daughter.  He asked if she was interested in going to school. I preceeded to tell him that this is her mother and she is 16years old already in school. Can I help him. He hung up.

I am replying to my own message because I made a mistake.  This number said it was from Atlanta, GA, not Sylmar, CA.  The other number was Sylmar, CA and it was 818-367-5177.  There seems to be no end to the number of phone numbers these companies can use to harass people without getting into trouble.  Don't you wish the government would work for us little people?!

I am quoting someone else about this phone number because my situation is the same: "For the last 3 days I have gotten this number on my caller ID....after reading these comments, I will not answer them or call them back...obiviously up to no good!"  I wish the FCC would do something about these annoyance calls and trace them and stop them.

I get about 4 "voicemails" a day (4 seconds of silence) from these telemarketers, despite being on the Do Not Call list, AND asking them not to call me (on one of the rare occasions that there was actually a person on the line).

This is not only annoying, but illegal.
