I get these scam calls every few months. They love calling people and stealing their money. It must work too because if it didn't they would had stop trying years ago.

did you honestly receive the cruise tickets? because i did all the things you did and im supposed to be waiting for 72 hrs. to get a call and book it. i printed my voucher and such and it sounds legit, but i don't wanna get my hopes up.

Now they called with a 215 3839735... the offer changed. Now money offer $100 and I pay - not now, not tomorrow, but when the voucher arrives. Because I won points buying at walmart..hhaha. The price 2.75 for shipping and handling. I turned it over last time a $200 offer. Digging a bit deeper he let know that I would be trying a auto service for me and my family - tiers, gas in emergency type of thing... but the product will be lunched in the market just next month. They gave a 1800 433 23 49 to call back because I was too suspicious of it - Agent Harry Robinson # 00430 - with a thick Indian accent. They say is from Travel Ally. Anyone knows what is it about? Kind of scary, they have all my information. Where did they get that? If they have $100 to give why ask for 2.75? If it is a product offer, why not just offer it? Bad business practice to me.

just got this phone call at work - they called the main line! i answered the random questions just to hear the ship horn again... that's the only "free" thing i wanted from this call, and i got it!

I got called by this number...thought it was a coworker but i didn't have the number saved in my phone.  It is disconnected when you try to call back.  The hallmark of a scam...and I work in the call center business so I've seen it all.

I just received this same call at work. When I picked up a operator fwded me to the survey. As you guys posted, it was the Captain saying I'd won 2 free passes to N, Bahamas. After I visited the automated 10 question survey I got a prompt assuring me to say on the line and that the trip would be free. Then - bam! they hung up! lol!

I just got this call tonight. I punched in random answers to their questions and waited online for the operator. I then asked her why she was able to call me when I'm on the Federal Do Not call List.
I heard a muffled noise right before she hung up on me!

I've seen other websites where people have commented about how they fell for this, gave their credit card information and then more money than agreed to was withdrawn!

Check out the "rip off report" on the web.  The free cruise is a semi-hoax.
Before they give you the cruise they want you to pay the port fees.  This is around $90.00 usd per person.  The cruise line is Majestic Lines, a line with a bad reputation apparently.

I can't stand useless telemarketing.  I get it at the office, at home during dinner, and at 10:00 pm at night!

Canada has the "do not call list" Starting Sept 30th, 2008 for Canadian phone numbers.  You can register any number to be placed on this list that (most) telemarketers aren't allowed to call, if they do they are fined.

I received this call at my work number 604-877-4673. It was a scam call askign to answer 10 survey questions and I would recieve 2 free boarding passes to Nassa Bahamas.

I got the call today, I used to work for a company like this. They would call and say that you tok a surrvy and now they want to send you on a free holiday. The company was called MVI but was part of the RGI group.
If you paid £30 you would be gave a free selfcatering holiday. Thing is it was real but what you didnt get told was that you had to go to a 4 hour presentation. The reason they done this is they are a holiday group but could not fill there hotels so rather than waste money you part pay for flights and you get free board at a 5* hotelthen they make money from you spending in the hotel on drin a dinner. Also they would hope you enjoyed it that much you would book yournext holiday with them. it sounds as if this is the same thing. I must admit i am a bit weary about it but i have there registered office address and they are a registerd company in the UK so if you pay with credit card then you have a legal leg to stand on if it goes wrong.
