I had the same thing happen to me. I received a text message from this number stating that there was a problem with my credit union debit card. I also reversed looked up the number and saw that it was from GA and since I have a local bank new it was a hoax. I then called my bank to report it. They just said not to respond and always check with them directly if something like that happens again. Thank goodness I did not fall for it!!!

I don't think they even have your account number, because they're calling people like me and some of the previous posters who don't even have a credit union account.

It's probably worth calling your credit union to make sure, just for your own piece of mind.

When I get a call, the name part of the caller ID for which really is my bank, I listen but do not give any information. I tell them I'll call them back and use not the caller ID but rather the phone number I got on paper when I opened the account.

DO NOT under any circumstances give any info or even attempt to call this number. It is obviously a scam. Many credit unions in state of MA are posting an ALERT over this on their websites. This is not a credit union specific, nobody has your info if you happen to be a credit union member. This scam, phishing attempt is going out to cell phone #s batches, regardless of who you bank with.

I work for a credit union and we just had a member call saying that they received the same msg! Financial Institutions won't ask for your pin#, so pls don't give them any information. Contact your bank and review your latest transactions to make sure all is well.

My wife received 2 texts from this number. After reading these posts we called our 2 daughters and both had gotten the same message. And yes, all are T-Mobile customers. I emailed the appropriate address at T-M yesterday morning and see that several others have reported it, so hopefully this phishing attempt has been shut down by now but I think T-M owes everyone an explanation as to how all their numbers were compromised. If anyone reading this has seen one, please post it. Thank you.

I received a text message and was so worried about it. It said  "Your credit union debit card has a pending alert. Call now toll free: 1-404-891-1102 and follow instructions to resolve this alert." It is scary. When I called an answer machine told me to enter my personal information and also no customer service will be available for me. Thanks God I did not give my personal info, but I am still asking me if maybe somebody with my info could apply for a credit card. How can I know if that happened?

I got a message from this number. Seems to be common among Tmobile users. Knowing full well that it was a scam I called and the first question it asked me was for my debit card number...insert laughter here...
Debter's 101...NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR CARD NUMBER!!! Even if they call you telling you that they are calling from your actual institution!
It's sad to think that there are still people out there naive enough to fall for these scams!

Received same text message this morning. This is a phishing attempt. Do not call the number listed or provide the information requested. If you did provide the requested information you should call your financial institution as soon as possible to report that your card has been compromised.

I got the same message "Your Credit Union debit card has a pending alert. Call now toll free: 404-891-1102 and follow instructions to resolve this alert." I never had such debit card. I also with T-Mobile. I think, whoever initiated those messages somehow got internal T-Mobile data.
I did call T-Mobile and ask to investigate a possible data leak.

I also have T-Mobile. I got a text message from this number saying" your credit union debit card has a pending alert. Call now toll free: 1-404-891-1102 and follow instructions to resolve this alert." I do have a debit card with the credit number. When I call I got a computerized message. The message identified itself as as customer service. No company name. When told no human interaction was necessary I quickly hung up also believe it is a scam.
