They called at 7:30 a.m. Pacific Time - that is earlier than the earliest telemarketers are allowed to call.  They didn't leave a message on voice mail (I had ringer turned off as I was trying to sleep).  It would not have done them any good even if I would have had the ringer turned on as I never answer calls from numbers or people/companies I do  not know who they are.  On the Caller ID, instead of a name or company, it showed "Not In Use."  That tells me they are a slimy scamming bunch of people.  If they think I've got money to donate to some fake charity, they are insane - no money, no credit card, no bank account, no assets - TOO BAD, THE JOKE'S ON THEM.

Mine comes up as Family Support as well. They call several times a day and it is getting extremely annoying. I am far to busy to have to take time to answer or look at the caller ID.

This is a very annoying type of call.  No one ever answers.  Is there some way to block these calls?

Sometimes I wish these callers WOULD show up at my door. Haven't target practiced in a long time!

They call my house constantly. Seems like it gets to be more times daily. They never ask for anyone, the line just goes dead. If I let my machine get it there is never any messages left. Can anyone please tell me how to get them to stop. I've tried calling the number and it won't even ring. I'm becoming very annoyed. I do not have & never have had any debts so it can't be a debt collector for me. Although I have had many for my sisters & brother in the past!!! HELP!!!

calls my house 6/7 times a day. at first they'd ask to speak to someone.  pissing me off. i flipped out on em told em to take me off call list, now they call & hang up.

I have received 8 calls in 3 days from this number. Why can't someone stop them

If you have Comcast phone service, you can program 12 specific numbers that will not get through. When I start getting a new one like this, I add it to my Comcast list and remove the oldest one since 12 is the limit.  I told Comcast they should have a hundred or more slots to program in phone numbers, but obviously that would take a lot more disc space on their end.

Answered after second ring.  Caller," is this Richard".  I said ,"yes"'then a click and male caller hung up.

I called back. No ring then  dial tone .

We are getting a call from this number about 4 times a day for the last few days.  When I answer, no one is there .. or it seems the line is open, but no one talks and I eventually hang up.  Our caller ID says Family Support.

This number 404-891-5613 calls my home several times a day and wakes me up. Caller ID shows "Family Support". Each time they ask for my wife by her first name. Then I tell them "she's not here, what do you..". click. They hang up before I even finish. My wife has no clue who these people are or why they are calling. It has become Extremely annoying! The calls started about a week ago. We've been on the DoNotCall List for about 6 months.

Today my father was so upset with them that he answered and said "hello" once and when there was no reply he said "Answer the f'ing phone" and they immediately answered and asked for my mothers name. We have no need for family support. Yes we are a military family, so that may be part of it im thinking... but i cant figure it out.
They wont leave us alone!

So If youd like to find out why they are calling, be very stern and even YELL if they are ignoring you and not answering the phone.

I am receiving the same call in Florida.  I simply do not answer this call any longer when I see 'Family Support"" on the caller ID.  By placing this number on the national do not call list

it might help.  I had my number registered on this list last year.  Today I filed a complaint with them about this caller.  Notice the ".gov" on the address?  As much as I have seen the government do for me, which is nothing, I could expect to see the same on this as well.  But it is worth a try at least.

They call every day for last 2 weeks, in Orlando.  When I pick up phone, there is dead silence, and after a minute, they hang up.  ANNOYING!

I started getting calls from that # too, I did a reverse phone look up, it just showed it was a land line located in Atlanta. I also tried to call it back but all I got was a machine saying all circuits are busy, then I tried again, phone rang once and the line was like disabled.
I believe it is a call center with agents working from home and they also believe they are receiving inbound calls but in fact the call center is using predictive dialing which means, their system generates the numbers and re-route them and that's how your # is dialed, such as in order of for instance : 12345, 12346, 12347, and so on and so on. Now if they mention your name, I have no idea how they would know unless your phone # and name was matched up with your postal services address by their system. Neverthess, it is still a major pain, since all canvassers use predictive dialing. Plus the fact that anyone out there seing the caller i.d could get tricked into giving money because they feel sorry for whoever it is that they are being called for (i.e . old people would spare some of their pension). My only reason for answering the phone was that I had made a good donation to Salvation Army, new furniture and other stuff and I thought I was being called about it to say thank you

The caller ID says "Family Support" and the girl went into a sales pitch for money for children with cancer,  It's a scam.

it says Charitable Call and when i tried to call back it was definitely an outgoing only call center, "all circuits are busy" every time I tried.

I get this number 3 or 4 times a day. Very annoying, for sure. No one answers.

If there are exemptions for the "DO NOT CALL" list, then what is the point of having the "DO NOT CALL LIST"?  I'm beginning to think putting your name on that list is the very thing they are selling out to companies because I get like 5 calls a day from 5 different "out of area" numbers and they change all the time and I'm on the "DO NOT CALL LIST".  Those pricks probably got my number from the do not call list because it only got worse once our number was added.

Charities are exempt from the Do Not Call List.  As are all registered non-profits, political candidates or causes, newspapers, and any company you have done business with (in any way) within the past 18 months. The Do Not Call list is sometimes violated by unscrupulous (or ignorant) telemarketers, but there are also MANY exemptions.

just got the call. ID showed charaty...call... woman was on the line and called me by my first name. Asked who is calling she said the children charaty etc... told her I am on the do not call list and I give only to those who show up in person with ID and hung up on her.
(she did not know that my number is on the do not call list which is a laugh, that list is not working.)
