J`ai moi aussi recu un message me disant que j`avais gagné une multitude de prix juste parce que j`avais participé...participer à quoi je ne sais pas du tout !  J`ai rappelé au 1-404-891-6827...une voix d`ordinateur me dit en anglais qu`il ne peut pas reconnaître le numéro de mon  `area `de leur donner mon no. ou de rappeler à nouveau ce que j`ai fait mais toujours la même réponse...la femme qui m`a laissé le message sur ma boite vocale parlait en francais...et m`a donné un no, de tél. pour les rejoindre sans frais...le 1-855-245-0651...j`ai appelé ,,ca sonne deux coups puis tout se ferme comme si je n`avais pas appelé...qu`est-ce que ces gens ou compagnie qui nous font accroire ce genre de choses...ce pourrait-il qu`en les rappelant on les autorisent à quelque chose, comme un achat ou je ne sais quoi..ont-ils le no.   de carte de crédit pour des  d`achats fait en ligne et ils s`en servent pour nous arnaquer...vous voyez, tout peut-être possible,,,sommes-nous protégés contre ce genre de transactions ?????Merci !!.

They called me twice today, no msgs.  I tried calling back but it jsut hangs up. Just last night I put my number in the do not call list for that college thing. Maybe it is them....

I just got a call from this number and hung up on them. I dont know anyone in the 404 area code.

They just called my husband's cell phone.  When he answered, they hung up on him.  Looks like they've started doing this to people just over the past few days.  They called Cassie on the 10th (a saturday) and now me on the 12th, a monday.  

Another site similar to who calls me has a lot of recent complaints regarding this number.  Two people stated that the calls are from attendcollege dot com.  The callers claim to assist you in obtaining funding and finding colleges that will accept students with lower ACT and SAT scores.

I haven't verified this information, but if it's accurate, it sounds like unsolicited sales calls and maybe even a scam.  If the number they called you at is registered on the do not call dot gov registry, you can file a complaint against them.

They called at 11:58 am and hung up when I answered.

I worked all day, 9-5 so I couldn't pick up the calls. 7 times they tried so far. It's ridiculous!

Keep getting calls from this number. I called back once and all I got was an answering machine asking me to leave my contact info. The message did not identify who the caller was or provide any identifying information. This sounds like an automated caller program fishing for live customers for someone. If I don't know the number I don't answer. I always tell companies or individuals, with whom I do business, to make sure that caller ID accurately reports who they are or I WILL NOT ANSWER.

They indeed never leave a message and since I never answered their calls, I finally Googled the number, found this site and decided to call them back. Their answering recording, in an "American" female voice, identifies them as "attendcollegedotcom" and apologizes if you did not recognize their number then offers two options. If you press 1 to be added to the do not call registry, a separate recording in a British female voice tells you to enter your number and allow 48 hours for it to take effect. Weird. We'll see if this works. Oh, and pressing 2 sends you to customer service in case you really wanted to go to college and get that degree after all.

This is a number from a college website. i am also incurring these calls from them but i dont answer but the one time i did i told them i had already enrolled in school and they told me i would be removed but i received a call today so......im going to my local authorities

OK who the hell is this person with this number. i live in illinois and my girlfriend lives in Georgia, and she got a call from the same number as i did. WTF?

The phone number is from Atlanta Georgia, thats where this person is calling from.

this number has been calling me for the last week i never answer and they leave a message. they have been calling me even after 10 at night. i hate them.

This is a company named attend college.com, i believe they help you to find the right college to attend.

This number has called my phone several times and twice in last two days.  No one is there when you answer and they dont leave a message when you dont.

Its called "reject"...nothing special... those old phones with no camera or anything even have the option

They have been calling me about 6 times a week asked for "Kayla" every time i answer..Although i havent actually answer it lately.  Frigging annoying bastards..I asked Verizon to block this number..They said they will never block numbers..

I constantly get calls from this phone number enough though I have been on the DNCL list for months. Whenever they'd call, there would only be silence until I'd finally hang up. I finally was fed up with the constant calls and called the company back-sounding friendly and interested of course. Even though the phone number says attendcollege.com-that is their trademark and not their actual website. Their actual website is attendcollege.net which only has one page and that's to enter your information in. No other additional information is given. No address. Nothing. I asked the rep on the phone what the call was concerning and she stated it was a "Complimentary College Service" in which you say what you program you'd like to attend and the company finds local colleges for you to apply to. I asked her if it was a not-for-profit company and even though she went around it a few times she did admit that it was a for profit soliciting call that they receive "payment from the university" that you get accepted into.
Here's more information: There address is "Attend College, 101 NE 3RD AVENUE SUITE 1500 FORT LAUDERDALE FL 33301". The company is controlled by a call center called MLX Direct. Their actual office number is 954-753-2201. That number is the company of the call center-not the individual client. I would call that number and either request Ezell Brown (CEO), or email him at ebrown@mlxdirect.com or ask to speak to a call center director regarding their business practices. The MLX Direct "remove from calling list" number is 1-888-855-8429, and the email is donotcall@mlxdirect.com.
Remember to make sure you are on the do not call list (takes a month for the phone number to be active on the list), and I would even think sending an email should be proof enough you should not receive any phone calls. It would be illegal for them to call you when you request for them to be on the DNCL even if you don't answer the phone.
Hopefully this company will learn how to respect laws and stop calling people who have opted out.

I got a call from this number. No one answered for a long time. I said "no" just in case it was a dishonest collection agency. A woman came on the line and said she was from some college. I don't remember the name.

One morning I received a phone call from said number. They asked if someone by a different first name, but same last name, was available. I kindly told them no and ended the conversation. They did not tell me their company or name. Sounded like an African American man in his mid thirties, but I can't be sure. They have been calling the last few days, just haven't been able to answer until this morning.

The call never went through, but it was from this number. This happens to me daily, from weird numbers...

I've had repeated calls from this number for over two months. In the first week, at least 10 calls alone. I requested to not be contacted any longer. After a few days attendcollege.com stopped contacting me for quite sometime. However, called again today and hung up. I'd really like to rip them one! Whoever I can get on the line is going to KNOW to not call again. This is ridiculous.

When I get a call from an unknown number (such as this one), I accept the call but don't say anything.  I just let the phone sit for a few seconds and then they hang up.  After a few times of this, they stopped calling :)

I keep getting calls from the number and when I answer nobody every says anything.
