I received 4 calls from this number on successive days.  Each time I told the caller I did not know the person they were looking for, and asked to speak to a supervisor.  The "supervisor" assured me that my phone number would be removed from their records and it would take a couple of weeks.  No more calls from this number, but then I started getting calls from other numbers; all from Goodman, Stern and Associates!

I filed complaints with the FTC, State Atty. Gen., and local D.A fraud office.

Claimed to be a debt collector and had legal documents. Would not state who documents were for or confirm the delivery address. Then hung up. Clearly a scam of some sort. Violated numerous Credit Act and Do not call laws.

Caller did not ask to whom she was speaking. She advised that legal documents would be delivered tomorrow morning. I asked who she was looking for. I advised that was my ex-husband and I do not know how to reach him. She hung up. She violated SO many Fair Credit Debt Collection Act rules--did not advise she was a debt collector, did not advise that call would be recorded, did not verify to whom she was speaking, etc.

How can I keep these people from bothering me with unwanted phone calls.

is there a way of the govt. to regulate all of  this very destructive phone calls???????
