This is a scam. they will claim to be a lawyers office working for a collection company. they are very rude, very manipulative. be careful. and they can trace your call even if you block your number. they will tell you that the police are on their way over due to a bad check you wrote, unless you pay them over the phone with a debit or credit card. bad news. they go under the name of greenborough and associates in georgia.

Recieved call saying Mr Bower was a lead investigator for Greenborough Sign and Associates and we needed to call today for possible check fraud.  Three complaint were filed against us with their company. We rarely use a checking account.  Original number that showed up on phone 866-809-6996

Mr. Bourough said a check and go was done in 2006 and we would be taken to court if we did not pay 152.52 by debit in two forms of payment. I told him ill file bankruptcy when he rudely told me that its impossible. I filed in the past and know the laws. This company is a scam do not give them your information. I can not even find their website online. They did somehow have my social security number.
