this person calls me about every other day, telling me it's a legal matter and to call back. they are also calling family members to find me. it's driving me nuts.

unfortunately just report your butt off to every one eventually they'll have enough complaints I"m coming full force with all the research and pulling up and diggin I got so many links and info on them.  they also are owners of ontrackassets to they arent slick I"m completely on to them and will be handling this soon!  they are getting slapped with a suit

Let me add these morons are the same company as Greenburg, Stein & A**'s they assumed a new name.  if you search michael thornton the owner you will find so much info as well as searching the business names, and the phone numbers!! just search google dont ever give these fools nothing!!!!

This phone number belongs to a credit agency. They are the most aggressive creditors out there. Operator named Ms. Jenkins with a case # and tells you that it would be handled in criminal court if you do not respond and take care of issue ASAP. Say's the Agency is Greenburg Stein and Associates.

Don't fall for the trap. They call everyday and same threatening messages. Just ignore them.

Has anyone ever been taken to court/sued?

They will not take you to court! this company is run by a felon who was banned from collecting debts a few years ago. Only a matter of time before he gets caught.

This group of people will go to lenghts to try and scam you.  They called my house looking for my brother with all the legal garbage.  The person goes by Agent Council (he spelled it for me) They called a friend of mine last week also.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING!
If they threaten you with a subpeona it's a lie don't fall for it.    
Mr. Council tried to explain to me the difference between a civil action and suit worthy.  

Also another group (don't know if related) using the number 800-596-4715 Freeman Mortan and Associates.  It's another scam.

getting calls

Recieved call early this A.M. Mr. Ross stated he was looking for my daughter in reference to fraudalent activity and asked about her social security #.

Eric Davis called to say that I owed this money to them...said they were going to take me to court if I don't pay something.  I said take me to court and hung up.  They called back and asked if the call dropped. I again said take me to court and hung up.
