Called them back, got  a busy signal

this person left no message and i got a busy signal when I called back

Was to busy to answer I called back and got a busy signal.  Then kept trying when it finally rang it had to do with the do not call list.  So I just hung up.

got a call from my work phone number (@ my place of employment), which is a telephone number i would not have listed on anything on the internet!!
when i asked the caller if they were a government agency (as that is what it sounded to me), they said they were not.  i asked them if they realized they were calling a government number, they said (ME) had given that number out - not a chance i would have.  when i said this was a government number and they needed to take me off the list, i was told "YOU SHOULD BE MORE CAREFUL WITH THE NUMBERS YOU PUT ON THE INTERNET?!!!!)  then they hung up on me.  
i tried to call that number back and got a busy number.  WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?!!!!

Im recieving a call from this number with a message that says they have been trying to reach me regarding an in home employment opportunity to process FHA refunds. No way this is true. When I call back all i get is a busy signal also.

Said calling from a Private Suite, Sounds like a complete scam!!

Pretty much the same story with moi.  Didn't take the call but when I called back got a busy signal.  Googled the number and was told that the number is based in a town called Errol, New Hamshire, population 300.  Lol. 300.  

A company name would be nice.

answered call and it was a recording stating they were trying to get in touch with me asking me if I wanted to work from home processing government insurance refunds. it stated if I was serious about doing it to press 1 and I would give my name to a rep to send me the start up package and by doing this I would need to send in 69 dollars or something like that...no way is this real. I just called and the line sure nuff is busy

got the call and tried to call back but got busy signal. this call may be - not sure - connected to another company that was trying to get me to let them send me info on online education. i asked where they got my info, they had my address and phone number and name wanted more to send me info even though i repeatedly said i was not interested in continuing my education as i have completed it. when i said you have my address - which is actually an old one - i said send it to me but then the man kept trying to get me to hold to speak to a supervisor. i asked why i needed to do speak to a supervisor, and where he got my info from. he said online sources. had indian accent and kept insisting that they were not a scam. of course i said a scam will not admit a scam so please leave me alone. now i get this call. i haven't received any of these mystery harrassment calls in a long time so i'm suspicious that these two could be connected. maybe someone else has a similar story since the NH number is busy now calling you folks here posting.

I have been getting the same calls for around a month. My number, as most numbers are on the DNC. I have stayed on the line 2 or 3 times to ask to be taken off the list, at which time I was threatened, as well as hung up on. Felling out of options, I called the company who provides phone service for "The Underground" and they not only stopped the calls, but have reported them to the local authorities. The number for their phone provider is (603)766-1000 Freedom Ring Communications, Llc (Bayring Communications. Tell them the situation, and they will do the best to help.

If they have been reported to the cops lets hope that they quit.  Although i had a missed call from them today.

I am receiving calls from this number on a daily bases. (The Under Ground) we have a private number so I am not sure how they got this. I would like to know how to get this stopped. When you call back it is either a busy signal or a message stating I reached this number in error.

The same thing has happened to me. I just switched my number less than 2 weeks ago and already I'm getting these phone calls. I know I've sent out my resume to Craigslist jobs but thats it. Has anyone else done the same? Maybe that's what it is.

Im only 17 and they wont stop calling and I dont give my number out I only ever get a busy signal I thought it may of been a cell phone so I even texted it and no response, how does this get reported they are ovbiously doing it to many people

I too just got a call from these people saying that I can process insurance claims by home.  I had a gut feeling that it was a scam.  No employer hires by recorded messages if they are serious.  I hung on the line and no one was there and there was no other instructions other than to press 1.  I did respond to a Craigslist job and few from the Chicago Reader last night.  I feel that has something to do with it.  It makes me sick how scam artist try to take advantage of the unemployed with no money.  I will try calling that freedom ring communications and see what they can do.

the freedom ring communications gave me an 800 number (800-461-6675) to see who has been giving out our numbers.  I asked if it where the University of Phoenix, and she said no.  So she gave me the 800 number so I can investigate it further.  We will see what happens.

This has been the 5th time they've called within the past month. Tried calling back but no signal/ and or sounds busy. My number is in the no call list and I'm just fed up with this stupidity! I will call the Freedom Ring Communications, Llc (Bayring Communications)# (603)766-1000.

Keep getting phone calls all the time for the last few months...no message.
If call back, just busy signal. I want this to stop and am fed up with it happening all of the time. I do not answer when the number comes up, but it is upsetting because when my son's are in the war(which they have been frequently) in Iraq and afganhnistan...and the phone rings with a number not from where I live...it stresses me out.
this has to stop.

I keep getting these numbers calling me that I don't recognized.  At first I picked it up not knowing who it was, I get a automated voice about my car insurance warranty, I hung up and now everyday, I get the same number calling me along with numbers for other area codes including 916-219-8161, 909-842-8172, 714 area code. How do I get off their calling list, this is getting very annoying!

Missed Call

This number appeared on my caller ID today, although there was no message.  In response to Chas' comment, I submitted my resume through Craig's List within the past couple of days.  One of the positions advertised appeared to be a scam (based on their response).  Perhaps there is a connection to the Craig's List postings.

Caller hung up.... what's are these people trying to do?

Just found out that that Errol on our caller id is actualy privacy assist service from Bank America that i never requested so i told them to stop .

and my home phone number that they are calling is unlisted.

I receive calls on my home phone in Virginia from Errol NH 603 214-3541. I do not answer, and they do not leave a message. I wonder if it could be a collection agency, since my son (who no longer lives here) had some debt.

Just got another call from these people. It was a different number this time 606-214-3698. I am signed up on the do not call registry, but signed up again and filed a complain. You can go here:
