this is a fraudulent collector using different name to scam previous pay day loan customer into paying a debt they dont owe they are using mismatch information obtained fraudulently to gain personal information mr louis marks is a scammer 404 991 3561

Got a call from this number. It was a debt collector.

They left a message on my phone for someone who isn't me at all.  The extention they left was 105 and a reference number of CM7003.  I think this is a scam galore!!  Especially since the person they were referring to wasn't even for me or anyone in my family.  Don't trust them.  If you are going through a lawyer have your lawyer deal with it; you are paying them money for a reason.  They need to take that burden on for you.

I received this call today also. They first called my parents and try to convince them if I didn't pay for a bogus pay day loan I was gonna be arrested for fraud. I have never had a pay day loan. Said they had me on camera making this loan. I got the message and called. Its interesting that they had my personal information yet the accusation was just a fairy tale. When I ask her what I looked like on the camera she said.."it looks like you" and and then I ask what I looked like. She got very nasty yet never said anything other than she was not playing with me. I told her to get all the charges against me she liked, and she hung up the phone. Its a scam in order to scare people into giving them credit or debit information. She also told me in order to avoid the federal charges against me, she would reduce my debt to half it I paid it immediately. How sad...

Has anyone received a call from this# 404-991-3561, no name jsut a message telling me to call and refer to case number 1197... stating its a fraud check or something..it used to be I got calls from a 716-748-7912 number with the same BS story and I was wondering if anyone has received calls from this 404 #..?

Yes, I got the same call yesterday - I reported them to Atlanta Governor's office of consumer protection, FTC and BBB.

So it is fake correct? I sent them a fax with my attorney's # since I am claiming bankruptcy and the calls came in 3 more times after I sent it and then they stopped altogether.
Found it odd they would not fax me the 'court documents' they claimed to have on hand..
