This is a company out of New Jersey called Loyal 9. They use redialer services around the country to make it look like they are calling from a local number. They charge businesses to set up their Google listings. You can call back the number and press 1 to speak to someone. Just tell them to take you off the call list and will stop calling. If they don't, then report them to the FCC.

They've been calling my house in the past, and I spoke to a young man named Liam who offered me a great deal on carpet cleaning. Mind you I have three large siamese cats and my carpets are a bit shadowed. The deal was for only a $49.95 donation that I could have three rooms plus my hallway cleaned. I've never been able to pass up a good deal. So, I booked an appointment and the crew  contracted out from Wizard Carpet Care was at my door as arranged by phone. My carpets were cleaned and deodorized and sparkled and smelled so fresh. The deal held through for only $49.95 and one of the nice men who cleaned my carpets explained to me that if I donated an extra $100.00 I would receive a valuable coupon book in the mail and they would give to a good cause of my choice. I thought that was so kind of them.

With regard to the "Hi, I am Diane" caller, I have had this telemarketer calling my residence now for a few weeks and I happened to noticed this thread.  I've contacted the FCC complaint department who relgulates illegal callers and reported this intrusion with as much information that I have.

If enough of us report the complaint with as much detailed information as possible such as ph numbers, time of calls, frequency, and exactly what the recorded message says--they will report this to investigators to find the source and potentially file charges.  Be sure that you've also registered your number in the Federal do-not-call database.

This is the FCC phone number for complaints, 1-877-382-4357 (after the menu, choose 0 to speak with a representative).  If enough of us complain and provide enough detailed information about this telemarketer, who knows, maybe we can nail them.

Please complain to the FCC, this is their job, and this telemarketer is violating the Federal Laws.

These calls annoy me but there is no effective way to stop them: the cowards provide no contact information.

Have been getting calls from this business ? for most of this year.  2-3 a week  They want to sell carpet cleaning, won't tell me who the business that will come is, or where they are from. They say they have many around the country.  When asked for a call back number because I am busy just now, they always hang up...

It's better to send them to a fake address. You DO NOT want these crooks anywhere near your property!

Next time they call you, make an appointment and when they come to your door tell thewm you changed your mind and don't need their services.  Imagine we all did this.  Try it.  They will not like it.

This # was on my home phone's 'missed call' list, rec'd 10/10/11 @ 9:27AM.   I'll assume it's the same crap-call reported here.  If it calls again, I'll send in a report to the FCC.

I first got a call from 405-217-2378 on August 23.  Since then, I have occasionally received more calls from this same number.  Once, they left a message on my Telephone Secretary regarding carpet cleaning.    I have had all of my telephone numbers registered with all DO NOT CALL registries for many years, and even recently re-registered them again, even though it's been less than a year since I updated my information last.  They never have left the name of the company,  and if I call the number to tell them to add me to their DO NOT CALL LIST, no one answers.

I also have received at least 40 calls from someone who never leaves a message, and only shows UNKNOWN CALLER with no number, since September 15, 2011.

When I call my telephone company, they only say they can do nothing about the UNKNOWN caller, as they have  no way of tracing such calls.  I pay for anonymous call block, but apparently, from what Verizon tells me, there is no way to block blocked calls from businesses.   The phone number that I presently have was as a replacement for  number which I got when I purchased a home in 2000.  That number was constantly being called due to the previous person who had the number being called by bill collectors, and even a mortgage company looking for the person who had defaulted on their mortgage.

A Diane from  carpet keeps calling to clean my carpet. I pushed 1 and told  the dump person that I  do not have carpet and stop calling. I ask her for her name and she hung up on me.  Next time I will make a appointment and have the  police here.

They keep called and i finally answered again for the 2nd time - it is this computerized speil about carpet cleaning and at the end of this woman talking it says press one to make appt  so i did and got a live person. i asked to pls STOP calling and take name off their list and the live woman just hung up on me. I saw the listing of Evergreen Carpet in LA and called them and told them and this guy who answered seemed genuinely surprised and said it wasnt his company and wanted to know details. I am not sure that it is from his company but whomever it is they are VERY ANNOYING

Occasionally I do get "unknown caller" calls from non-profits or survey companies, but they are also unwanted.

Second phone call from them I recieved today the other a month ago.  It concerns me as I have family in this area code that may be trying to get a hold of me.  I call it back but it says is disconnected.  If this is a scam stop calling.

Got a prerecorded message on my home phone from "Diane," advertising carpet cleaning and saying "Press 1 to make an appointment."  She also asked me to join their other satisfied customers (whom I suspect don't exist).  I have gotten calls from these guys before about both carpet and duct cleaning.  I reported them to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm and I strongly urge everyone to do the same!  Btw, thanks to everyone who provided additional phone numbers and such on these guys.  I included that stuff in my complaint. :)

Called again today at 4:39 pm.  Caller ID just said "out of area".  No message left.  I, too, have been on the DNC list for years, apparently to no good purpose!

Keep getting calls from this number, no message. I called this number back, a recording says this number has been disconnected or no longer in service, never the less I still get calls from this number. Sounds illegal to me.
