The idiot who called me (on my business cell phone, no less!) said something about a State Trooper Association, which I highly doubt! As soon as I said "this is a business AND a cell phone, DO NOT CALL AGAIN" he hung up on me!

The Caller ID on my phone was PAI.

I keep getting these phone calls from this number and it says it is from a PAI.  What ever that is. I sure don't call Ok. City.  I live in far eastern Ok.  Sure would like to know what the deal is with this joker.

Well, I think I can shed some light on it but I don't think you'll like it.  This I believe is a private investigator.  The reason they hang up when you answer the phone is that YOUR not the one they are suppose to be talking to.  So sorry folks, someone in your house likely knows who that is (like your significant other) and you are being investigated.  Don't ask me how I know this and I like you can't prove it.  The number is actually registered to the Ross Construction Group located at 19 NE 9th Street.  However, I'm still thinking PI as my girlfriend has hired one.  PAI probably stands for PAInvestigations.  Believe it or not....btw, Ross Construction would always answer there phone.  Its a big outfit.  Sorry folks.

BTW "PAI" is a play on their actual license number.  For instance:
check this out.  See the "PIA" in the below listed PI license numbers?:  So they have entered PAI for there caller ID(cute,huh)...but what that really is saying on caller id(like to the wife who won't answer the phone anymore when they call) it's saying call me back.  (BTW, she's answering it when your not around, bet on that because she hired him).  Time to cover your backside, I don't mind spilling the beans, it's a crappy thing to do to someone you supposedly love.  So in all these cases, scrap your current credit cards, those numbers have been handed over and any purchases you've made, your checking acount too, your cell phone records have been acquired, your computer likely has a key logger and screen shot on it and all that stuff has been captured.  Any "hotmail" type accounts, they have those, your passwords and your emails....They either have already followed you or are following you.  If they lose you, your other calls you and says "what are doing, where are you", had any of those calls?  Thats because they lost you in traffic and want to know where to pick up the trail.  If it all has gone on long enough, they also know who your dancing with and who there spouse is.....bet on all of that and the kisser is is that your other has spent a TON of money to find it all out.  These guys hand out a little tiny piece of the puzzle out at a time, and each time there is a price, and your other is never going to say no because they just got to know.  They got to know every last detail!  And we ain't talking hundreds here folks, try thousands.  These pi's are dirtier than a crooked snake, they know every trick in the book and they have you on their scope.  Good luck out there.
I'm right, I know I am so if your getting calls, and there hanging up when YOU answer the phone then your it! Lastly, it doesn't matter that it is an OK City number, I don't know how they rigged it but I don't live in OK City either....I'm on the east side of the state and this is the number to a PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They may have an office there or not.  Do us all a favor, if one of your "others" confesses please confirm this so everyone here can get to the businesss at hand.

One more thing, look at the earlier post where the gal answered it and the individual portrayed himself as her employer, he knew where she worked because her other had given that info.  They have everything on you because your other has given them everything.... including your SS#, bday, license number, mothers maiden name....etc...EVERYTHING (this is what really peeved me off)

...back to the post :The private dick probably got confused, thought he was talking to a client, covered quickly and then hung up.....yea...."spooky" but definitely not a coincidence.  A lot of these calls are just tracking calls.  Call you at the house, your where your suppose to be...or not, etc.  Call your cell....possible GPS....It's called pattern fishing.  Go get em boys and girls, your answer if they choose to give it to you is someone very close to you....

Again, when someone can identify the PI, please post but PLEASE be sure your correct...I don't want to beat the tar out of the wrong person.  Should be easy enough to find NOW that you know what is going on, start checking your bank records, your other's credit cards....there getting paid some way.  I highly doubt that the payment info is going to say soandso PI.  That will probably be a front too......like soandso medical services, etc.  But there will be a lump sum for starters and then a repeatable bleeding...get the picture?

My wife's sister and kids have been staying with us. Her husband is a fairly rich drug addict freak and very likely could have hired a PI to get dirt on us or her. He has threatened everyone in the family not to help her or he would get them. If he did this he missed the mark. It will only drive her fauther away. What a controlling freak.

Drive her away, as it should.  Want to really freak him out, tell him your PI found out about his PI.......lol.

We have received several calls from 405-231-2144, when we answer the line is open but no one speaks. We are on the "no call list" so it is clearly illegal and harrassment

Received these calls at numberous times.   They hung up when answered.  Figured they are using a automatic caller so they can record when a person is apt to answer.  Caller ID says PAI.  Anyone know what this is??

I just called this number and got a recording, it said "thanks for calling the office, we arent available right now.  Leave your name and message and we will contact you shortly"  It did not state a business name.  that is odd to me.

I am getting them too I live in Owasso..what the heck is this crap? They just hang up on me.  Last call I got was just a minute ago 8:40 P.M. I didn't answer and no message left.  Surely someone can track this con down and press charges. I am on the no call list isn't that a $500 fine for every offense and don't we have about a gazillion offenses here?

Am constant ly getting calls from this number and pretty much the same as all of the rest of you.

Got same phone call from this number, caller ID said PAI, but when I call it back it says number is disconnected, so they have it forwarded to a disconnected number so we cannot call them.  My husband works for the phone company so going to see if we can find out who it is.  Now, I actually do have a brother in FBI. but would not call him over something this stupid.  However, i will let you all know if I find anything out through telephone records.

I too received a hang-up call from this number.  I don't even live in the 405 area code.

This number showed up as a missed call on my home phone today. First time for me.  I googled the number and this thread popped up.  It's a shame the shenanigan hasn't ended by now.  I hope to not be harassed in the future by whoever owns this number.  That will piss me off to no end.

I got this call at 856pm we didn't answer the phone in time. It we let it ring three times. When I called back I get a message that they are away from the office and the vm is full.

According to my Google search, the company is Digital Design. You can email them at sales@digital-design.com and ask them to remove you from their call list. There is a listing in the OKC phone directory for Digital Designs located at 912 N. Classen Blvd., OKC  73106.  The local  number is 405-239-2800.  I don't know if it is the same company or a local business who unfortunately has the same name as the national telemarketing company.  Here is a link to the telemarketing number lookup website that shows Digital Design as the company:
