Have been getting calls from this number for the past week or two. The caller ID says "Extra Values." Needless to say, I don't pick up. They don't leave a message either.

Yes newspaper telemarketers. Newsday NY here. Constant calls 6-10 times a day. Cancelled years ago. This company must work on commission.

I answered once, and they said they were from my local newspaper, but my cell says they area code is from Piedmont, OK. They have NOT stop calling me since the first time I answered.

Called me twice.  First time no reply to my hello.  Second time, said they were "The Times" and wanted to send Sunday Coupons

Caller ID shows MNS, seems to be a newspaper subscription group, seemingly outsourced by McClatchy news group, who have over 30 newspapers in 15 states.

I got 3 calls from the phone number 405-283-8945.  The thrid time they called I answered and no one spoke.  I called the number back and a notice of METRO NEWS voice mail popped up.

they call my husband's business phone every 4 hours, have left 2 nasty messages to stop, has not worked.

Called again and I answered.  Said calling from the Raleigh News and Observer.  Advised they remove me from the call list.  Had called 4 times in 15 hour period.  Must be telemarketing company for Newspapers and Magazines since the number appears to be an OK number and they called me about a NC company.

Called me a third time in the last 2 hours.  I answered and they said they were calling from the Raleigh News and Observer.  Told them to remove me for the call list.  Must be a telemarketing company that magazines and news papers use since it is an OK number but said they are calling for an NC newspaper.

Called three times between 7:00PM and 11:00 AM next Day.  1st call was a guy that started singing "Mercy, Mercy, Give Me Mercy"......then hung up.  Next two calls no message and then just hung up.  I returned call and the automated answer was Metro News......

They keep calling my home number in NJ, I never subscribed to any of these papers. More annoying part is a few seconds later, there is a small beep. I have been disconnecting the phone.

I am tired of getting these calls. Just started happening a few days ago. I am contacting the attorney general in Ok.

Get several calls a day from this bunch. Just pickup phone, then hang up. At least, they have to pay for each call.

They call often and no one is there when I answer. I was getting the same call from another 405 number and I called Verizon and had the number blocked and now this 1 has started calling me.

Somebody said that are calling from miami herald... sounds like scam.

I was told if they continue to call after I told them to stop I can sue them for harassment. They call and hang up. I don't have time for games I have a life stop calling my phone!!!!!!!!!!!!@@@

THEY CALL AND DONT TALK!

Repeated calls from this number. I'm not alone.

Just Hung up with them. They called on behalf of my local newspaper. I had forgotten to pay the bill. They said they didn't want to see me lose my subscription. Very nice gentleman on their end. I am glad they called.

They call at least twice a day, let the phone ring 3 to 4 times and disconnect. Have no idea who they are, I am on the no call list and still get these annoying calls. Have reported them to the FCC before, no change, they still keep calling.

These people call at least 3X per day on our home phone (Hurricane phone - FL). No message is ever left. We do not know who it is so we do not answer. I doubt that it is a Dallas newspaper as we are in FL and have no connection to TX. Perhaps it is the Palm Beach Post as we used to subscribe about 2 years ago. Extremely annoying.
BTW our number is unpublished and on the DNC List. B*****ds.

Got a call from them saying my subscritption from my newspaper was about to expire just send them 24.00 and they could renew it today, they didn't even have the price right. Told them I would mail it to my newspaper when it was due. Then I
hung up on them

Do not know who this is but they call early in the morning and then several times during the day.
