That's right...how dare we comlain about people bother us in our homes?  How dare we tell you no?  And even WORSE, how dare we share our angst about being bugged by all the noble callers who just want us to contribute to their worthy causes?  Because, Randy, buddy,  I pay for a phone for my use, not yours.  And, unfortunately, due to all the thieves and scammers out there, no one believes the sob stories on those phone calls anymore.  

I donate what I can without being called, and organizations get what I can give.  That's it.  So your phone calls are never getting one cent out of me.  If you're paying a professional fundraiser, calling me is wasting their time.  And, it would appear, I'm not the only one.

I don't know if I would stop supporting an organization that feeds starving children, because they interrupted a couple minutes of my day, but to each his own.Gosh we are such babies in this country.

Called here today -no message

Received call today at approximately 2:50 pm, 11/18/2011.

We also got a call from them today.  No one answers & no message.  We are on the No Call list.  I never give to any organization that is so rude as to call us on the phone.  Some have made the mistake of calling & we stopped sending them support.  They are very slow to learn.  Too bad.

I looked it up on the internet and found this (donorcarecenter.com)  800-398-GIVE.  I called the # asked to speak to a supervisor to report annoying harassing phone calls. I spoke to a sup told him not interested and that my # is on the do not call list he said non profits are exempt and I told him that due to them hanging up and or not leaving a message that they where not exempt from CA penal laws on harassing and annoying phone calls and that I would be reporting them to the local PD and Sheriff, CA States Attorney and the FTC, He quickly changed his tone asked for the my # and guaranteed that my # will be removed from the call list and that they would not call back and also apologized.

I think it is a scam to pay for a report to know who is calling you. They keep calling me to.
