Received an e-mail claiming to be from e-fax with an attachment. I do not subscribe to this service so I reported it to spamcop.net
Says its from here http://www.efax.com but it actually points to here www.tis.co.th

| DO NOT OPEN Email E-FAX!! 2014-02-05 02:12:39 Prank Call |
Spam email messages claim to contain a fax message notification for the recipient. The text in the email message attempts to convince the recipient to open the link to view the fax online. However, the link contains a .zip file containing a malicious .pif file that, when executed, infects the system with malicious code!!
DO NOT OPEN THE EMAIL! HIT THE SPAM BUTTON AND DELETE IT!

I received an efax today that could not be opened.

I also received an email message claiming that I had a fax. Note that the link for the fax will actually open a zip file, which is very suspicious. I searched the internet for information about the zip file (efax_4053146690.zip) and apparently it does have a virus. Another big clue that the message is a scam is the fact that there is no indication of who sent the fax.

This is a scam - possibly downloading viruses when you click to receive it. Since I received it on 4 different email addresses within 10 minutes - it's doubtful this is anything but scam/spam or worse. Do NOT link to find out the fax. At best it's spam - at worst you will be exposed to malicious software.
