As one person pointed out, these guys don't recognize do not call lists because it's a foreign company grabbing US numbers through Google. So they technically don't have to abide by the laws in the same way. As far as I know, nothing to do but block the number for the time being and when the next number comes along just switch it out

Robo call saying there is a high rise of crime in your area. GE Securuty is selecting 5 homes in your area for free security installation. All you have do is let them put a small solar sign in your front yard. Press 1 now to speak to a rep. I hung up.
TSL 2014-02-12 16:26:09 Unknown
Let it ring and go to voicemail. Left no message.

Called and left no message. I don't answer calls from #'s I do not recognize.

Caller ID Name was "OKLAHOMA CTY OK". Machine gave some BS about 5 people getting GE home security system free if they are willing to put up a small sign in their yard. If you are willing to do that press 1. I pressed 1 and got a message that said the MagicJack customer was not available. I left a rude message.

Recorded message offered free installation of an alarm system for your home if you will allow us to put some solar sign in your front yard.
I pressed 1 to talk with the salesman. The salesman came on live within a few seconds. I mentioned that used to own an alarm company. I own a video surveillance distribution company, and I asked him if his company might be interested in the products I offer, he hung up without a word of response. Not friendly; not nice.

Twice, today, calls came in from 405-418-6197. Caller ID showed "Oklahoma City, OK." Nobody left a message on my answering machine.

If it was only that simple.. hope you realize that things don't get solved in a hour like on CSI.. I'd love it also if it did, but realize its not going to happen when some of these creeps on the move and spoofing cid not to mention the ones who are not in the US and all the other illegal scams, extortion scammers and fraud going on. Still, I report them.. And if its really that bad with the calls, then you can buy a call blocker under 60 - Amazon has a really nice selection. There's call blocking phones out also..

Another lousy telemarketer; the distinctive feature is that the Caller ID says CIT OK OKLAHOMA. I just put them in the black list.
Janice 2013-10-07 16:46:53 Telemarketer
Caller ID shows "City (OK). Message states "GE Security Systems" beginning message with "research shows an increase in criminal activity in your area". Selling security systems. They call frequently but change numbers so really can't screen the calls. What a pain, like, really? Do they honestly think I would buy from them?

Robot call from this number. Let pick up, and message was about solar security system. I am also on do not call list.
Annie from Utah 2013-10-03 00:45:49 Unknown
UGH! These scammers and several others will not leave me alone - they call every day! They never leave a message and of course there's no identification except for their number. What's the point of a "do not call list"? :(

This person have call me on serious note. I do not have a alarm system install free. I tell them they call me inconveniently and there is no alarm installed free by them. I have alarm system from ADT I tell them. It was install two year ago. They insist I have been a select candidate to have a free, new system install. This is lies. I tell them they lie to me. I resort to call local police to report fraud. Local police say there is nothing they can do. What do I do to stop call?
Jenny 2013-09-17 07:08:14 Unknown
I receive 3 calls a day. There is either no one there or someone gets mad and slams the phone down when I ask to be taken off there list. How do I get rid of them?????
Chris 2013-09-06 21:53:12 Unknown
welll...the bad news about " digitone" call blockers is that they ONLY work for one (1 ) phone....so , if have more than one phone...........you WILL here rings several times......
( and this little device DOES interfere with other phones / lines etc )
plus , they are super sensitive to foreign signals..........and you have to keep the thing at least 4 feet away form anything electronic for it to work properly....!!!!!
Chris 2013-09-06 21:49:15 Unknown
I can't say enough about my Digitone Call Blocker. No need to fret about these calls more than once. You simply block them and your phone never rings from them again, no matter how many times they call you. Much better than writing letters to the Feds, who couldn't give a flying $#(% unless it's going to make them some cash.
Rotteedad 2013-07-15 14:39:08 Unknown
Yes you will. They have a long list of numbers that will use until you run out of room for blocked numbers.
Annoyed 2013-07-02 15:53:33 Unknown
Caller ID : City of Oklahoma
SOB did not say anything, hung-up!

These people have call before. At first you get a message that they want 5 homes to receive a free home security system and to press 1. When the guy came on the line I ask him if they new about the do not call list. He said there was no such list. I then ask for a supervisor and he said they were ALL out to lunch( at 10AM ). I then told him to remove me from their list, he said they didn't have a list. I then said I would report them and he said he would remove me from the list they don't have. This is a scam out and out. I successfully registered my phone number on June 28, 2003. They HAVE been reported to the Federal do not call list office. I hope they get them big time.

I have gone through the "5 stages of grief" regarding unwanted phone calls, including all of my own phone calls, emails, texts and letters to Federal & State agencies, Political Persons, Heads of Business, etc, and I have learned and accepted that, while most of them do indeed agree with our complaints regarding unwanted phone calls, unless ALL of THEM become motivated to do something about it, it will remain as it is. So rather than for me to continue with my feelings of anger and all the actions I might take as a result, my personal policy from my last stage of the 5 stages of grief, has been for me to have decided that I DO NOT ANSWER ANY CALLS THAT DO NOT CONTAIN FULL CALLER ID INFORMATION, AND, IF IT IS FROM SOMEONE FROM WHOM I WISH TO COMMUNICATE. Furthermore, I have a cordless phone system that allows me to BLOCK up to 100 numbers, and I use it. There ARE some calls that are from a number I do recognize, but yet may say "out of area," because they may be from a cellular service provider; my wife's cell phone, for example. So I use my cordless phone's CALLER ID EDIT feature to change the "out of area" NAME line of the Address Book AND Caller ID, to read her name. Now when she calls home it no longer says "out of area" and then gives her number, but rather gives BOTH her name and her number on my caller ID. There are things in life that just aren't worth the emotional and physical energy and the TIME out of my life to fight them, and sometimes we just have to "change the things we can, accept that which we cannot, and have WISDOM to KNOW THE DIFFERENCE." I'm still as much a fighter as I ever was, and these calls still piss me off, but I no longer let these rude, uncaring a***s that do these things ruin my day or hurt my relationships with others. I also make sure to do whatever I can within reason to avoid using anyone, any company, any products, any service providers with whom they interact or mutually prosper, and if it is convenient, I let them know why. (Politely so they don't put you on the "mental subject" list!) Take a deep breath, let it go, de-stress...it's not worth it. BTW, the integrity of our government at every level, our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, our military and our Veterans are things for which I "give no quarter," things that turn me "full on," and for which I would give my last dying breath, as so many have done. God bless America, Land That I Love!

First time I received this call today. I did not answer and entered this no in my "call block" list on my phone. I will not hear from them again!!

called San Antonio @ 11:30 AM . listened all the way through my voice mail message but didn't leave a message---my message says, "if you are a solicitor or telemarketer hang up now as your call will not be answered--otherwise leave a message for a return call."
tory ries 2013-03-26 16:57:50 Telemarketer
This company has called multiple times trying to sell me a security system the operator will not confirm the number they called to have it removed from your call list- your supervisor will not identify the company he is representing, I will locate the company you allege to represent and inform them of your shady practices.

These solicitors for fake alarm services continue to bombard my phone and privacy. My indebt research has discovered that their solicited services are a scam for money and social engineer to steal personal identities and probable funds. DO NOT OFFER ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!!! Block all incoming calls from that area code. I am currently working diligently to have them prosecuted under the highest law available.
Nando 2013-02-14 17:11:38 Unknown
You are NOT talking to the scammers when you come to this website. You are reading about the experiences of other people who have gotten the same calls that you have. So, a message like "DO NOT CALL" or "STOP CALLING" ect, is pointless.
