I missed the call, voice was a 1-800 number for me to call to confirm my mailing address.  When I tried to call them back the message was they were not accepting inbound calls.  Guess I will not take their outbound calls.

I received a call yesterday from this number they left a message saying it was credit dept at OG&E so I called it back and the message I got said the party you are trying to reach is out of area so I called Customer Service at OG&E she said my bills are current and don't know why they called me It seems to be a legitimate OG&E number my question is 1) why are companies allowing mobile numbers to call and 2) why make it look suspicious

I do not give out my cell phone number to Businesses nor unknown people.  These people keep calling my cell phone.  They leave a message about late fees.  I do not and never have lived in OK..  Have never had anything to do with a company named OG&E.

Just received a call saying it was OG&E and that my service was going to be cut off due to nonpayment.   Called and found out it was a scam.

On October 24, 2012, at 5:53PM, I received an automated call from 405-553-3010. I called the evening number (OG&E's automated system) and checkced my balance. I also checked my account online.

a womans voice left me a message, said from OG&E...I need to contact them imidiatly to keep my utilitys from being shut-off , thats funny I dont even use OG&E...bunch of ding dongs!!

I also recieved a message with a women saying hello then never sayd nothing else googled the number thinking it was og&e already for sum reason.Called back the number and it sayd all curquit lines are busy and to try and call back later.clearly a scam number this saved me in case they ever call back,,,now i know..thnx

Legit number from OG&E. It was a recording that told me to call either the toll free number or the 272-9741 about my account. NOT a scam lol.

Just reported an outage & got a call from this #

I called OGE about my power going out and recived a call back from this number checking to see if my power was still out.

I received a voice message from this number and someone said "Hello", and then for about 2 minutes it sounded like there was heavy breathing. Then, an automated voice said "Please contact OG&E". It was really bizzare.

Just got two calls from this number, a few minutes apart. The caller did not id themselves. This is not OG&E's phone number. The second call, they left a pre-recorded message that did not identify themselves and gave a different (toll free) call back number. I tried the main number and got a recording that said "All circuits are busy."

Getting Fax calls to office line...caller ID say O G E.

I received a call yesterday morning saying they were with OG&E and they needed me to verify the last 4 of my SSN.  I asked what this was in regards to and they told me they could tell me once i verified my last 4.  I told them no way was I doing that and then the lady said "thank you mam" and hung up.

These are scammers - a female called and identified herself as working for OG&E - she said they needed the last four digits of my social security number - I said I would call them back and then she offered to "transfer" me over - I told her I would call back independently.  I phoned OG&E and they said it was a scam and that these parasites had called into OG&E pretending to work for a different department within OG&E trying to get customers private information.  So whatever you do do not speak to these criminals.  Or better yet give them a bunch made up false information to mess with their little bitty brains.

Calls from this number are automated reminders from OG&E. They are based on information from the night before apparently. So if you make a morning payment online, you may get a reminder that your bill must be paid, etc. even though it has been. Best to call customer service anyway.

I had a missed call from this number.  I've tried several times to call whoever it was back & the number always has a busy signal.  The message that was left starts out as an automated message that says the call is from a restricted number on behalf of OG&E.

i keep getting a call from this number and noone says anything just silence.

I called 1411 but it is unlisted.  just says that it is oklahoma city landline and southwestern bell service.
