The will not give a purpose for the call, and they want verification of address etc.

This number calls my cell phone nonstop, inquiring for some guy I don't even know.  Despite my explanations that they have a wrong number, they fill my voice mailbox to capacity almost daily while I'm working, rendering it unavailable to legitimate callers.  They won't provide any information about the call because they say it's a private matter, yet they expect me to provide my own personal information.  I suspect (due to their extreme lack of professionalism, using what seems to be a fake number and otherwise general shadiness) that this could be some kind of scam or "phishing" call to steal identifying information.

the number is URS (Maybe United Recovery Systems) a collection agaency, they call without leaving a message, I called an asked what kind of business they were in and go transferred to someone else, they use numbers in your area in hopes u will answer, another form of trickery, why dont they call from their own number and leave  a message. what ever happen to professionalism

I mistakenly answered this # because it was my states prefix.  It was Brian Whitmore calling for Citi Banks about my debt. He kept interrupting me every time I tried to explain something. He wanted all my personal info including my bank, my 403 whatever, where I've worked since I'm unemployed, my Mom's situation, etc... Said if I didn't pay the 10% of my total (>$13,000) w/in 24 hrs. he'd put me down as refusal to pay. He interrupted me when I was telling him I'm NOT refusing, he interrupted me when I was telling him I wanted him to send me a written notice w/in 5 days of the amount i owe and who i owe it to. He kept talking over me BUT said 'I'm not sending you anything', so he did hear me. When i asked for his # he gave me 800-304-8854, ext. 3905. I told him that's not the # shown on my phone(406-333-0020), he paused and said that's his personal line. I had tried that # earlier when i didn't answer it an got a '#not in service message?'  I'll try WAY later tonight to see what comes up.
I also told him not to call me anymore.  This continued to go nowhere, I was in tears, so I hung up and turned my phone off. Now my family can't call me either!

Called 2 days in a row now, if not more...... Looked up number....says its from "Quest" out of Livingston, Mt.  NOT INTERESTED, QUIT CALLING!  Very Frustrating..What  ever happened to "No call list"???????

Who is calling from 406-333-0020?  Will not leave a message or what the phone call is about.

This is a decoy number used by URS (collection agency for USAA bank and others). They use the number to show up on your caller ID instead of their REAL number 866 582 4085, because no one in MT is dumb enough to answer a call from a toll-free number.

alst message probably right, they called looking for a woman who had my cell number over a year ago.
Male said they would take my number off their records.
