I received three URGENT and CRITICAL voice mails from this number. A woman named Shirley at ext. 25963 said it is critical that I call them back asap as this was related to a relative. Here I am thinking someone has died, but after a quick second thought, realized I don't have any relatives that would have my name on an account. Regardless, I called back and couldn't reach Shirley; however, someone named Brandy finally picked up the above extension. I asked her about the message. She informed me that she couldn't reveal the message because it wasn't for me. WHAT?, I responded. Oh yes, evidently, the voice mail was only to be extended to the "relative" that Shirley from Chase needed to be contacted - yep, I was only to serve as the messenger. As any reader can imagine, I got PO'd in a hurry and advised that if I am ever again left a v/m from this number, I will contact the authorities. Brandy responded that she needs my social security number to ensure I am not again contacted. At that point, I uttered a profanity, chuckled and slammed down the phone. BEWARE, folks - none of this sounds the least bit authentic.

We just received the letter requesting personal information via delivery person. We immediately called Chase and was told that this was a scam and that if they had sent a letter by courier, they would have required a signature/delivery confirmation.
I have reported this to the fraud department at: fraudnet@gao.gov
