unknown, no message,  first time they called today

Received a call from this #.  ID showed Montana.  I know of nobody in that state so did not answer.

THESE PEOPLE ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY. THEY CALL ME ALL OF THE TIME. IT STARTS OUT AS A RECORDING ASKING ME IF I WANT TO BE DEBT FREE. I HAVE TALKED TO LIVE OPERATORS ON NUMEROUS OCCASSIONS AND ASKED THEM TO TAKE MY PHONE NUMBER OFF OF THEIR CALLING LIST. SOME SAY THEY WILL, OTHERS HANG  UP ON ME. HELP!

Robo call on behalf of DebtWave Credit Counseling of Santa Ana and San Diego, CA, selling bogus debt settlement plans w/ high fees

They seem to be a telemarketer.  They left a message saying that if i wish to be deleted from future marketing calls to press 1.  I pressed 1 and got a robot saying thank you.  It is probably a scam to see if the number if active and by pressing 1 just told the freaks that I was a real person but we'll see.

Keep getting this number on my cell phone.

I stupidedly entered my cell phone number on a 'fun web page I.Q. quiz' that would only send a 'text' phone message with the score. They sold my cell phone number to whako-sales people who have called me every day for months and months. I always call back and requested to be placed on the 'do not call' list but they just call back. I finally started hitting '1' to talk to them. They say "okay, how much unsecured dubt do you have." "Ah, zero." I reply.  "You don't have credit cards? "  "I have several but they all have 'zero' balances."
No mortgage either, paid that off. (all ture). They usually just hang up at that point except one guy who actually used the F-word on me for wasting his time.

I get call from this number 2-3 times a day even after I have asked them numerous times not to call.  I have reported them to FTC and I'm on the no call list.  There are times that it's for debt consolidation and times that no one is on the line

It is a scam.  They were just trying to get information from you, possibly for identity theft.

It's a scam.  I used to work for a police department and we received a complaint from a woman who was constantly being harassed by these people.  They threatened her with all sorts of things, including having her thrown in jail, if she didn't pay them money (which she didn't owe).  Our officer called trying to talk to them and they kept calling and harassing us, and trying to cold call to get personal information from employees.  Truly despicable people.

PLEASE report these people to the FTC. They call me as a debt consolidation. I have pressed 2. I have called back and pressed 1. it does NOT stop them. They still call several times a day.

I don't even pick up the phone if it's not from my area code.  If it's important, they can leave a voice mail.  Do not call listings are useless.

Said "This is a message for the business owner."  Claims to be a "data compiler" for GOOGLE.  However, this must be an international call as the caller id says "Toronto" but the area code is for areas in Montana.  Looks like a scam when things don't match.
Probably some robocaller trying to find 'live' business owners so that person can be added to the phone bank for more direct, intense marketing.
If you press any number, you are probably targetedf.

The call I received from this number was an automated call that claimed to be fro Google Local Search, to verify business information.  It then said to press 1 if I wanted to be included in Local Search.  I did press 1,  since we are in Local Search.  As I waited to someone to pick up, I thought this may be a scam and hung up and searched this number.  Interesting that others get call from a debt collector.  When I called back the number, I just get a recording offering to be removed from the call list, without identifying who they are.

I have received seven calls in two days time from this number, even when you call back and tell them to stop nothing happens.  Something needs to be done about all these unwanted calls.  When can the FCC step in and stop them?  Why pay for an unlisted number when even the phone company won't block the calls?

Some are the calls are from toll free numbers as well but all say the same thing.  At first it sounds important but then you can tell very quickly it is just harassement.

I have been receiving automated calls from this number for days, and each time I press "1" to be connected to a live person to be taken off of their list and each time they hang up.  Today I pressed "1" and Eric answered Loss Mitigation Department, then asked if I had problems with my mortgage, so I asked if he would take my number off of the list, instead of verbally responding he just hung up.  I am now starting an unwanted call log so I can submit this with my complaint.

I'm on the "No-call" list,too.  But what I don't understand is the fact that I don't owe anybody any$$$.     I've been debt-free for over 8 years.   What "Debts" do I have to "Consolidate"???

Telemarketers who have no career, no education and no future. Can you imagine being 20 ~ 30 something and having to telemarket for a living? I think I'd shoot myself (or go to work for McDonalds...at least that's an honest living).

This number has been told to no longer call.  My number is also on the do not call list. In addition, bankruptcy has been filed and completed so this is illegal. Thank you.

Unknown caller, they call 3 or 5 times at day and they never speak...kind of weird..this is an office and we always answer our phone calls.

When you do get someone they will probably hang up, as they do with anyone who presses 1.

My caller ID says TORONTO ON.  I always see that they called when I am away from my desk, but no messages.

I get several calls a day from them. They either want to solve my non-existent tax problems or consolidate my loans. They offer to stop calling if I press "2" but they still call. I am on hold trying to talk to a person and get this resolved but so far all I've had is music after 15 minutes. At least they are spending some money.

Try filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, especially if you're on the National "Do Not Call" Registry.
