Call to my office number.  I did not answer - they did not leave a message.  Caller ID showed "Billings, MT"  

accounts receivable management trying to update a subscription that we do not even receive.....fools.

Sorry it was not a debt collector.. this was my post. I hit that by accident.. they were supposedly renewing my subscription to magazine i don't get.

They called me asking me to renew my subscription to a magazine related to my industry.  I told them "I never signed up for it and if it is a renewal what address have they been sending it to?"  Could not tell me my address and I asked for their website and she gave me a fake url that has nothing on it.. could be a scam...I see people from many industries on here saying similar things..my industry is different than any I see here...how many different magazines could they be selling?  Sounds like the call comes from a VOIP or magic jack or something.  Echos and poor sound quality.. Calling the number back make you listen to bad hold music for a long time before anyone picks up... seems really fishy...

Calls repeatedly, leaves no message, when you pick up there is no response when you call back you are put on hold with interminable clown music. So much for the do not call list. Caller id says Billings Montana.

They've called me repeatedly from different numbers.  This time, when they called, they masked their number with 'MY NAME'!  I guess they thought that I'd answer if I thought I was calling myself. LOL

A facilities management magazine.

They are offering a free subscription to their magazine to facilities around the country.

Always calls wanting us to sign up for a subscription - telemarketer.

Automated System and has called my office more than 20 times in the past 15 minutes.

Got a call from this number 4 times today.  Twice they asked for employees no longer here and then asked for any Systems Engineer.  Same as everyone else, lady with think Indian accent, obviously in a call center.  From now on I will simply pick up and hang up without speaking.  After doing that a few times it usually deters these types of calls.

She called today and yesterday and the day before.  Because of all the noise in the background I could not hear/understand a word she was saying.  I had to ask several times where she was calling from and she did say "Smart Meeting" but again could not hear who she was calling for because of all the noise in the backgraound.

Keep getting calls from this number. They hang up after I answer. I tried to call the number back and only got hold music for a long time. I hung up b/c I had the feeling nobody would actually answer after being on hold for several minutes.

I get their calls at least once a week. I pick up the phone and usually there is no one there. Sometimes it will be a free magizine that has nothing to do with my job. After telling them so they still want to send me the magazine and keep saying "But It's free". I just say no thanks and hang up, but they call back later. Very annoying plus they waste my valuable work time.

Same routine, they have called every morning this week already.  Indian people in Montana, really???

They call everyday sometimes 3 times a day. I do not answer because I do not recoginze the number. Whenever I return the call there's just music in the background....these calls are annoying.

This is an outsourced company calling to renew or subscribe you or your company to the magazine that the particular caller is representing. They have called our business 4-5 times a day for the past month. We are a restaurant and yet they manage to call during the busiest hours, and the line goes dead as soon as it is answered. I finally decided to call them back today, reamed them out for their incessant calls, and told them if we are not removed from the calling list there will be a complaint with the BBB. Your best bet is to call the number back and TELL THEM TO STOP AND REMOVE YOUR NUMBER IMMEDIATELY! DO NOT SUBSCRIBE, DO NOT RENEW.

THis number called for an employee at my work. There was an annoying beeping noise and I could hear myself echoing what I just said. Very obnoxious. She couldn't say the name right and had to spell it. He was in a meeting so she is out of luck.

I really hate these sorts of calls.  We blacklist these callers and block them for our hosted VoIP customers who so desire.  We also block invalid numbers (CallerID comes up as '0' or a number that's too short or too long to be a real number, for instance).  Normal "Big V. provider" phone service doesn't provide a way to block these calls.

These sorts of callers often make use of VoIP to their advantage but VoIP also provides capabilities for dealing with these callers.

Trade publication renewal call. They harass people to renew subscriptions to various trade publications that are so lousy they can't even give them away.

Just started getting calls 8-5-13. Was getting calls as described above from another number 701-557-9453 . One day I take the hand set and gave it a good rap on the bench top and then hung up. I did this the next three days. the next 2 days I did not answer. The third day I rap the hand set again. Then I did not answer the next two days. Then they stopped calling.

It's for trade publication magazines. I get the same requests from deeply accented (Indian) people from multiple numbers (most often in California but have come from multiple states).

been getting calls from this number for a few weeks - at least several per day. Like noted above, on answering, either it's silent or there's chatter. No msg ever left.
