Called me 3 times today! no messages left and I cannot call back.

Call me a minute ago, my phone didn't even ring. No message left.

Has called 3 to 4 times for 3 days asking for me.  Calls on a line I don't even own or on.

Yeah, don't pick up on these people. They are annoying!

Oh, and by the way, when I told him I knew they were calling about lowering interest rates or consolidating my bills, the guy said that wasn't why he was calling (he never got any further than that). But I see from reading everyone elses posts, that is exactly what he was calling about! Geez...what a liar!

These jerks have called every morning for about 2 months. I only use my home phone for a fax line so I never answer. Well, today I decided to answer. The guy got my name right, but before he could say any more I told him I wasn't interested in help lowering my credit card interest rate or consolidating my bills. His response was, "Well, if you're to busy to discuss your credit accounts associated with social security number ending in XXXX (which he also had right) then you have a nice day." He just hung up after that. It's obviously a telemarketer or some sort of scam, which brings me to my next question...How the hell do they know even the last four number of my social security number?!?!?!?!? This is the kind of crap that really pisses me off! I wish my creditors (or whoever it is) would quit giving out my personal information. I mean, are they stupid? This is the kind of sh#t that allows people to steal your identity and ruin your credit! Don't give them your information!!! If you need help with your bills, call someone you trust rather than some random a$$hole who calls you out of the blue!!!

they have called us twice today calls started friday the 12th you cant call them back will not go through I called national do not call #  1888 382-1222 do not call list, now i know who these callers are always asking for my husband. the last time they called was at 4:51 they asked to speak to my husband and all i said to them was put me on the do not call list and of course they hung up.. see it they call again keeping track of the the time and date next step will be reporting them but they have to call 3 times after saying put me on the do not call list..

I just received a call from the number 406/426-3228 but the caller id display was Montana. They have called multiple times and the woman was extremely rude. I told her I wasn't interested in talking to her and to take me off the list. She got rude so I hung up. She ended up calling me right back and screaming in the phone, then hanging up on me. Unreal! People need to get a real job and leave the rest of us alone!

IMS called me today.  My mother-in-law answered.  She says that she had 2 say "Hello" 3 times before the caller requested me by name.  When she handed me the phone, the caller hung up.  I googled the name & number and found all the posts.  I hope that they call back so I can give them "the business".

We have a friend who lives in Montana and has a cell phone registered in that state, so when this number came up, I saw the 406 area code and thought it was him.  I had to say, "Hello" three times before someone finally responded and asked for a member of our household.  The man would not identify who he was, only claimed that he was with "IMS" and could lower my credit card debt.  (He was calling about MY credit cards, but asked for a different person.)  When asked who/what "IMS" is, he would NOT identify the company.  He kept demanding credit card information.  He was very persistent, and kept demanding said credit card numbers even after being told that such information would NOT be given over the phone.  We ended up hanging up on him.  

Using Google, I looked up the number and found that it's listed a a cell phone through Cellco Partnership DBA Verizon, and registered in Red Lodge, Carbon county, Montana.  Caller ID listed the number as "cellular call".  Nothing came up on "IMS" and the caller refused to state his name.  

This whole situation smacks of a identity theft scam.

Caller ID showed the call as "cellular call".  Caller would not state his name, but claimed to be "IMS" and wanted to lower credit card rates.  Would not identify who/what "IMS" was, but kept demanding said credit card numbers over the phone.  This is an obvious scam.  

Looked up number though Google.  According to http://www.ussearch.com, the number is registered to a cell phone in Carbon, Montana.  The phone company is listed as Cellco Partnership DBA Verizon.  

This call was an obvious scam.  Probably wanted to steal credit card info to commit identity theft.

I am a witness to the rudeness from this number.   I guess you only get the rude treatment if you say no or question their claim to lower your interest rates on your credit or the legitimacy of their service and company.  I was treated awfully today by the caller from this number and I am very concerned that there appeared to be no remorsefulness or conscientiousness about the conversation.   Very unprofessional and the caller did not seem to care at all!  Something is definitely gone wrong at this company and I can't wait to hear about it on the news someday.

I get calls from this number every day, sometimes more than once.  They never reply to hello.  Now have caller ID and don't answer.  It hasn't stopped them, however.  They are listed as "DAKOTA" on my caller ID.

I have been calls from them too.  This one was from a Siara Blakey who said they could lower my interest rates on my credit card.  She said they work for Citibank.  She then wanted to know my interest rate.  I told her that if she worked for Citibank then she should know this.  She also wanted my credit card number, but I said that I don't give this out on the phone.

Yes to all the above. A couple calls a day. Sometimes no answer and sometimes asking by name and when asked what this is in reference to either a hang up or on occassions they will offer to reduce my C/C interest rate. Asked several times to be placed on their no call list and they either hang up or get smart.
I would suggest that no one do busness with these folks and if you have call blocking on your phone that might be the only way to stop the calls. The FTC does very little to prevent these types of scams, they are absolutely overhwelmed with a thousand new scams a day and these folks have no such list to honor.. The other solution is to trace their location and when they call tell them that you know where they are calling from down to the street address and threaten to take action in what ever form you fill comfortable and are angry enough to perform.

i received unwanted phonecalls asking for me by name and then hanging up.  since we have just moved into UT from another state and this is a new phone number, i would like to know how they got my # and what is the way to put my new home phone # on a no call list...if that even works...

They call and ask for someone else, will not identify themselves, then hang up.
They call every day.
The caller ID just says IMS and you cannot call them back, you get a message that the number is not in service.
These people are a sham, I am moving to have their number blocked.

funny - i just got a call today.  He asked me to verify info he had from my credit report (apparently sent to him from the "government"), including interest rates and total debt.  I told him I didn't feel comfortable doing and started to suggest that he contact me via mail with information - he just hung up???!!!!!

IMS strikes again, asking for a guy who doesn't work here but has been receiving calls looking for him from various places. I suspect debt collectors getting creative....

I have tried to explain to them that the number they called is a new listing and the person who used to have it, does not have it any longer.  I also asked to be removed from their call list as I am on the "Do Not Call List" and they told me they had no idea what I was talking about.  They said they purchase these numbers and they WILL call them.  What good it the government Do Not Call List when companies such as this ignore it?

Got a call from this number today at the office I manage. When a number comes up on the caller id that I know is not a customer I answer the phone with a simple "hello". This guy does not say anything at first so I say Hello again. I can tell he has no idea who has called and pauses after he says can I speak to...."XX" I say sorry you have the wrong number. They are looking for the people that owned this business over 2 years ago. I hung up on the guy and he has not called back. I hope they dont. I just hang up on them. They wont listen when I tell them that the business and owner are gone and this is a different business and different owner. Oh well... you gave those people the credit.. your problem, stop calling me.

They're idiots.  I answer the phone and set it in front of a radio speaker with VERY conservative talk radio on (WMAL 630 AM in Virginia).  I figure every second is THEIR dime... so piss on 'em.

She was very unprofessional, made insulting remarks about my religion. So I told her not to call back and hung up. She called back, started to try to sell me again, so I got mad and started yelling that I'd already asked her not to call back. She implied I was impoverished because I "was the one in debt". I asked her if she had any credit cards, and she ignored the question. (trying to make the point that a LOT of people are in debt right now) I told her that this was not a solicited call, that if she called back a third time, I'd call the police and report her and her company for harassment, said a few other insults purposefully similar to the ones she'd given me (about her being in debt, and her lack of piety), and then hung up. She did not call back a third time. Very rude, very unprofessional, and I advise everyone not to give ANY information to any call coming from this number no matter HOW official they might seem.

This is a complete lie this lady was very rude and was screaming about nothing about Jesus was weeping for me and everything...About how I was taking food out of her kids mouth and everything...but yet I was trying to explain to her how things work...Sorry you had such a bad experience but I'm sure the hundreds of ppl I have helped are grateful
