Just received a call from this number. She didn't giver name, simply asked if I work with buyers in <my area>. I responded with 'yes, I do. But is this a solicitation?'
She got angry and raised her voice and said 'never mind! I'll happily give these qualified buyers to another agent!'
She then hung up on me. Her number is now blocked.

And CJ or whomever is trying to advocate for the pipeline company? Yikes. Even if it turned out to be legitimate, his nasty comments would be enough for me to walk away.

I will report them to various agencies when I'm back at my desk in hopes of no one being scammed by their laughable offer.

I too am a Realtor and received a call from 406-532-5587 that wanted to sell me referral for $97 upfront to a cash buyer for a condo in Pacifica that had $500k to spend. She inquired what other areas I worked in San Mateo county, (seemed as though she was looking at a map). I told her to have the client call me and after the close of escrow I would be happy to pay her a referral fee, when I inquired weather she was a licensed realtor about paying a referral fee she called me an IDIOT and hung up. Thank God, I had her to tell me what I was at 8:45 on a Monday morning or I might have been confused all week.

I just spoke to Margo.  Initial call said they needed a realtor working in Sumner County so it sounded like they were wanting to buy a home.  The call initially came through as unknown but when they returned my call the real number showed up.  406-532-5594.   The person she wanted to refer named Jason was already approved and that it was around I believe 83.00 per lead.  Good luck to the next person.  

They are at it again. I didn't recognize phone number so let it go to VM.  It was Margot - she didn't identify her company, but I knew it was corporate by her message.  She wondered if I covered Federal Way, WA where my office is located, but I cover other areas of Seattle over 40 miles away.  She was obviously calling down the roster of my company.  I started googling the phone number, as Missoula MT triggered something in my memory.  I found this site.  Glad I did - they called me several years ago, and I believe I talked to Sherry.  I did not sign up for the service then, but they were persistent.  I will not be returning Margot's call.

Received the same email verbatim about a "client" who is interested in a property near me & since they are located in Missoula Montana, etc. it's a total scam! Thanks everyone for posting this for all the legitimate agents!

Realtors, are cyber soldiers on frontier. We are targets and victims. We got cheated, tricked, summoned, sued, jailed and vitalized and killed...

I am also a REALTOR. I happened to be sitting at my computer when I got the call, so I googled the phone number really quick before I answered. I've been getting a TON of these calls lately, so I like to know if they are legit or what to say to them when I do answer. I'm glad I saw these posts! I answered and the guy asked me if I wanted a referral in a county (that I do not even cover) and I told him 'No thank you, and please remove me from your soliciting list', and he hung up on me. Didn't even say goodbye lol. I'm sick of these companies calling and wanting US to be paying THEM right off the get go for a POTENTIAL sale! I tell these companies I don't pay ANYTHING until I have my commission check in hand from the sale.

Received an email saying Grant had a buyer looking for property in this area.  I called him.  He said they charge $60 for three months worth of referrals and guarantee at least three per month.  Told him that sounded unlikely since he is in Montana and I am in Michigan.  I asked where he got my email address.  He said they buy lists of realtors and send out mass mailings. I asked him to take my name off his list and he said I shouldn't make assumptions.  I then called my broker and gave him the info.

I too am a REALTOR and got a message from 406-532-5587. The message was from Betty saying she has a couple that wants to work with an agent in my area and they are preapproved to $440k. After reading all of these comments,  I am not going to call back. Thanks for posting everyone!

Well guys got the same email to call. I am a local Broker here in Dallas and when ever I receive a call from out of state on my cell I always let it go to voice mail then call back if I find it is legit otherwise they never leave a  message. YA THINK?

Just received a call but no message. I am also a realtor and google numbers I do not recognize.  Thanks for the info, I will pass along to the other agents in my office.

Obviously this is an unprofessional company that is trying to profit by stepping in between the buyer & the agent.  Perhaps if this company included (in their solicitation email) that they were offering to SELL a lead for a SPECIFIED PRICE & actually included their company name in the signature... it could easily be disregarded by Realtors that are uninterested & pursued by agents that are desperate enough...

We just received a call from this number.
It is pretty clear to me that CJ and DJ are the same person. It shows a lot of Class that they/he come's on here and call everyone a "crappy" agent.
We have a very successful team and have closed over 35 million in sales so far this year, and we use several online lead gen sources (Zillow, realtor, market leader e.t.c) but very little of our business comes from these online lead sources, most of it comes from radio, past clients, Sign Calls, SEO, local print advertising, Expired/FSBO prospecting and direct mail campaigns.
But if you are going to try a online lead gen service, do your due diligence. And try one that has a good reputation.
I would never use a company that comes on here and bashes agents, Very unprofessional!

I got a call from Margot Eichenlaub from Missoula Montana when I dug her out of spam, thinking I'm asking for trouble.  Her email meichenlaub@realestatepipeline.com.  I went online and found her on Linked-In which she fake populated.  Stupidly, I dug her out of spam and called her.  Oh and she's this and that, a CPA who had a heart attack but does corporate taxes for these high end corporations and in her spare time, she markets for buyers...for a fee of @$95.  For my "exclusive area" and the person who had worked for this area before, did a wonderful job and had high-end clients in East Palo Alto and Daly City, which was my clue--those are the lowest end, and that this former successful agent retired, so they're looking for a replacement.  All this b.s. and so well spoken.  I thought I made a friend only to find out as I was speaking with her, looking at this site, that she was riveting malice.  

I am so ashamed to have to say, Miss Margot and her ilk, are evil incarnate.  In time, no matter what they do to me or all of us, they will suffer their own evil.

I have been getting calls from this company they initially represent themselves as a Real Estate Brokerage in Montana, with a referral for your area.
Not true, is a scam, don't waste your time..stick with the known 'brand' lead generating systems.
