They called me today from 'Charter Communications' but then told me to wait for several minutes.  The telephone was very scratchy as if made from a cell phone and there was lots of racket in the background.  Then the guy said he couldn't find my account so wanted to know my name.  I immediately said 'no thank you' and hung up.  Seems very fishy to me . . .  I don't think it's legit.  

They call every day at different times, I do not answer, had them blocked but it didn't work. Optimum sucks. And so do the maggots that cool from this number.

Calls at least once every day on both my landline and cell phone. Rings only once or twice.

Calls multiple times for multiple days...want to upgrade my service...I have dropped to just internet and dumped the cable because their lack of respect for me as a customer...was spending near 200 month at one time and now down to 55...but these calls and constant mailings are probably costing them more then if they had just worked with me to keep me as a full customer...pathetic...

This call center is based out of Joplin Missouri. The phone number is 417-624-7702. If you're reading this, most likely it's because you're not happy with the persistent phone calls or the high pressure sales tactics. Call this number as many times you possibly can from 7am-4-pm and hang up.

You people are so dumb. They will never stop calling you I used to work there haha good f****** luck. If you do want them to stop move out of the state probably somewhere east that's your only f****** chance have a nice day.

I am reporting this number because they are harassing in their solicitation. After being told NO very nicely for three weeks they are still persistent.  Tonight however was the end to it, I will be contacting corporate first thing in the morning. This man I will not use the terminology gentleman bc he is far from it. He called this evening and I said sorry not interested. He pursued further with an extremely sarcastic tone asking why I wasn't interested? Why aren't you? Do YOU NOT WATCH TV. I said no I was not a big tv watcher. He then pursues with well you mean to tell me you don't have internet. I got extremely firm and asked him to stop calling. He would not respect we he continued on with extremely cocky smart remarks, For this reason we will not ever accept Charter to have our business in the future.

OPTIMUM NOW CHARTER--  I HAD OPTIMUM PHONE SERVICE FOR ONE MONTH. THIS WAS THE WORST PHONE SERVICE  I HAVE EVER HAD.  THE SECOND TIME I WENT TO USE THE PHONE IT WOULDN'T WORK, WENT TO NEIGHBORS TO USE THEIR CENTURYLINK PHONE AND CALLED OPTIMUM. THE CREEP THAT I TALKED TO TOLD ME I HAD TO UNPLUG THE MODEM AND WAIT A MINUTE AND THEN IT SHOULD WORK AND IF IT DIDN'T TO USE MY CELL PHONE !!!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER OWNED A CELL PHONE AND NEVER WILL. I HAD BETTER PHONE SERVICE BACK IN THE 1950s AND 60s .  I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND OPTIMUM - CHARTER TO MY WORST ENEMY,

STOP CALLING

This number calls many times during the day and at night; apparently it is Charter Cable (they bought Optimum Cable) trying to get people to buy more services. In this area they have a monopoly on cable service.

if you call it back - there isn't any ring. just a "moaning" that extends like a Halloween ghost sound.  and then a beep for you to leave a message.  go ahead, call... leave the most annoying messages! I did! =}

Keeps calling when I answer they disconnect. I called back and get a message that this mailbox is full.

i have done research the number is linked to a company called touch america holdings inc also known as the montana power company ive tried calling another # they give out but it does not ring nor take me to their voice mail i suspect they are gathering information from your phones contacts being able to call other numbers and get information off of your phone i suggest do not answer this number if it tries to call again make a report to the police department about it so they can take the appropriate actions to stop this from happening.. ive traced the number back to Missoula montana near Caras Park so far thats all i got out of the phone trace and this is all the knowledge i have as of right now

I know it is annoying to get these phone calls.  BUT, bless the person behind the phone. They, at the least, have  have a job and are trying to be useful, contributing citizens.

I get calls from this number all day long everyday to the point of harassment . I should know who it is they told me month ago but I do not remember and since now when I answer it they just hang up on me I don t remember . When I try to call back it tells me this mailbox is full nobody ever answers it . Its to the point I would like to know if I can do anything legally to stop them . Even if it is a bill collector and I am not sure if it even is this has to be harassment . this has been going on now for I am guessing a year maybe close to . If anyone can HELP it has to STOP !!!!!!

This number just started calling this week. They've called 16 times already, 7 just today and 5 times in the last 2 hours alone! I've answered 2 of the calls and they said they are from Charter. From what I found online Charter purchased Bresnan Communications which is the internet provider I had in Colorado. I just want the calls to stop as they can't beat the price of my provider and I've explained that to them already.

After weeks of multiple calls per day I answered and told them to take me off their call list. I was told it might take 30 days since there are so many lists and so many callers. Unbelievable that these idiots can get away with such an invasion into our lives.
