I've been getting calls from these people for the last month, even though I called back and pressed "1" to be taken off their list. They have asked for myself, my father, and my mother, each time wanting to know if someone in the household has diabetes. I finally got the name of their "company", the Diabetes Medical Supply Co. Surprise surprise, no such company. I've asked various callers who gave them my personal health information and each response was for the caller to hang up. Today I just asked for a supervisor. Again, they hung up on me. I've filed a complaint with the Do Not Call site and with my state's Attorney General's office. HIPPA laws have been in place, so I'm pretty sure no one is supposed to be selling your personal health information.

I got the one where they asked if anyone in my household had diabetes. I said that health information is private and they hung up.

Call it back...they give you an option of pressing "1" to be taken off their call list ....takes 72 hrs, they say.

We've gotten three calls - the first asking for someone who doesn't live here, wouldn't identify and then hung up when I said No I wasn't the person they were calling for,,, The second, I said "Hello" twice then they hung up (I recognized the background noise)... Then the third call asking for my long since deceased Mother-in-law, they still wouldn't tell me who it was that was calling, asked me who I was, and hung up after I told the caller she was dead. I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

Caller asked if I or someone else had diabetes. I have been getting calls about diabetes supplies. Each time it is from a different area code. I don't know how to get them to stop. Telling them not to call again does no good.

My 98 year old mother has been receiving calls from this number regarding diabetic supplies. They have asked for her personal information (ssn and medicare #). However, as she lives with me I have been able to intercept these calls before she was able to give out this info. We have caller ID and when I check it says unknown name. They are very persistent and I would like to know how I can stop them from calling.

I just received a call from this number. They were confirming that I was a Medicare recipient and also diabetic which of course I told them yes. Then confirmed my address, still okay. Asked my birthdate, questions are arising in my head, I give it to them. I have also asked them why they are calling and what this is concerning. Answer: confirming that I am a Medicare recipient.
Their next question is what made me very angry and made me want to warn anyone and everyone NOT TO ANSWER.
They asked my Medicare claim number...which is of course your social security number followed by a letter. Needless to say I told them there was no way in hell they were going to get that and to never call my number again.
This worries me because I can see how someone would fall into it. Especially someone that is too trusting. I am 30. I worry about others that are older and might unknowingly give them this information. So please be careful!!

Some people need to educate their local police departments, if they are calling at all hours of the day then YES IT IS ILLEGAL.
