I have received multiple calls from this company.  Each time I route to the real person, and ask to have my number be removed from their dialer.  (As instructed)   The response I received from the gentleman was " Fxxk you Cracker",

REALLY????  I am so glad to be solicited by credit consolidation companies with workers like that.
IMPRESSIVE.

I get these calls all the time.  Answer, don't answer, report to the FTC...the calls keep coming. The only thing that makes this bearable is my Pansonic cordless phone.  It has a call blocking feature that comes with the phone; you don't pay extra for this service to the phone company.  Works as long as you have Caller ID on your phone, which most people do.  The phone stores up to 250 numbers to be blocked.  When one of these jokers calls, I just save the number to the blocked phone list.  You can either set it up to not ring the phone if that number calls you, or you can have it ring once and it leaves the number on your caller ID list.  I've had the phone for a year and I'm nowhere near storing 250 numbers.

I just love it when I hear the phone ring once, then see the "Caller blocked" message appear as it automatically hangs up on them!

Called multiple times different hours of the day. I have answered and asked to be removed from their list, but they hang up immediately. They ask how much credit card debt I have and when I say less than 500 they hang up immediately.
If I call back to ask for a supervisor to try to get off their call list then the message is the number is not in service.
I also get multiple calls with no number, only "Out of Area" and calls from 406-936-5472

ichy7 I do basically the same as you.  I have blocked some numbers on my cell phone. I can't turn off answer machine at home as I do not have caller ID on that line.  I do however just let it ring once, go to ans. machine and my recording is "You have reached (me) I screen my calls and am on the "Do Not Call" (Bull S&%t) list tell me who you are I might answer or leave message"  I used to answer then blow a loud whistle into the phone, like I said on another post here wish I had an air horn.  There just doesn't seem to be any way to avoid them I know  from before pressing the 1 to be removed didn't do a thing they just used a different number.

Same as all above  Card Member Services calling from yet another number. I have reported them so many times to the DNC list, FTC and FCC..they have not been stopped. They say the more reports filed the better...hope so.

Unfortunately, they keep calling even after you have asked them to put you on their no call list.  You were lucky to actually speak to someone without them hanging up, once they realize you don't want their services.  Yes, the government's do call list is worthless, because you can report these numbers, but, what is being done about it.  The do not call list site will just tell you not to respond to or call back robocalls, they will just add you to another list, and yes, robocalls are illegal, but what else is new.

This number has called me at least once a day. I just do not pick up strange numbers that are shown on my telephone. I did get a call yesterday that had 00000. I thought it was from my phone provider checking the lines. An energy scammer. BUT I did find out that the telemarketers sometimes use a 59 CLOUD DIALER that makes their calls. Later on I am calling these people (800-553-8159) to harass them a bit. I also found there was a Chinese technology study that found that if a telemarketer has to wait over 40 seconds for one to either answer a call (or if you put the phone down for over 40 seconds when they call) the telemarketer loses money. So telemarketing is a science--a crap science--but a science

Same old scam, new number.  This is the first time I've received a call from Wise River Montana.  And it was a different pitch too.  Never announced that they were "Credit Card Services" like previous calls have, but still trying to lower my interest rates.  This time, however, they said a "non-profit" was offering the program.  I pressed 1 to waste their time, but the call went to music-on-hold for longer than my patience would hold out, so I hung up and never got to go through their pitch.

The phone companies could stop this nonsense if they wanted to, but they make money charging innocent paying customers for call-blocking service. Nomorerobo is very helpful, but I need to report new numbers to them every week.

The DNC list does not automatically block calls.  Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to legitimate telemarketers who pay a fee for the list.

The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities and companies with preexisting business relationships, but these organizations might have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

The DNC list  is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those people do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.

I have seen lots of advice not to answer these calls, but I'm here to say that just doesn't work. Seems that when you don't answer they call many more times a day, and do the calls daily. I didn't answer the calls for 6 months, and there were a bunch of them. I then started to hit the "Remove Me" key after I answered, and that at least slowed down the number of calls I got per week. I did that for around 6 months, and I also filed a complaint to that the Do Not Call . gov site, and that is as worthless as not answering the phone, and hitting the "Remove Me" number that changes from call to call.
After than I would hit the number that was said to be the customer service rep, and asked them to Remove Me. That slowed it down to only 3 or 4 times a week, and I still turned them in to the DNC site. After a year of that, I started to call the FTC and the FCC, and place my complaint on the phone. Told them that 2 years of putting up with this is not acceptable, and they needed to figure out something better. They said that I can file a complaint with them online also along with the DNC site. So I did that for another year.. Right now as it stands it's been almost 6 years of unwanted calls, and I got another one just a few minutes ago. I now answer the phone with, "Just wanted to know how the Al Qaeda fund raiser is going" .. I get a lot of strange answers to that question, and even called the FTC and FCC with a question as to how the NSA is going to protect us when they can't even stop the Al Qaeda fund raisers going on all the time.. So far I don't think they really care about American's being ripped off regardless, of where this money is going.. You know some people must be falling for this as I can't imagine them putting up with people like me on the phone without making some money from it.

got robocall from 406-832-5847 caller ID said "WISE RIVER MT" on Thursday 03-27-14 @ 107 PM.

Previous Call from this number was on on Wednesday 03-26-14 @ 923 AM.
Appears to be a daily call from these bottom feeders.

This call was from the Scumbag SCAMMERS = Card Member Services.
Picked up phone and did not say anything. No recording came on. So listened until it went into disconnect mode.

.
This time the message said it was from "Denise Miller from Card Member Services" (they have used that name previously on other spoofed numbers)......because of the stimulus...blah....blah......press 1 to speak to Customer Service or press 3 to be removed.

So pressed 1 and no response it was like "dead air".
Interestingly enough my portable 'time for that call' was still increasing - so hung up.

Averaging at least 4 SCAM calls per day plus SCAM calls represent almost 70% of inbound calls.
Absolutely amazed that my Phone Co. can't do a thing except offer me Call Blocking Service that I would have to pay.

Wendy go to http://www.nomorobo.com/ and see if your phone company is on the list so you can get it.  It's free and works very well.  Google it and read about it before you decide.

Received a call from this number at 10:00 am.  It was "Denise" from card services, the same old credit card interest reduction scam... called ID said, "Wise River, MT."   The robocall number and caller ID changed from yesterday from 406-936-5472 caller ID said "MONTANA."  I've filled up all of my call block slots on my personal phone.  Just wish there was a way to stop this.  Anyone out there have any other suggestions?  So tired of this nonsense!

I received this call today 3/25/2014. I asked to be removed for there calling list. I was told they would remove me from the list for $300+ can't remember the exe. amount. I plain to call the states attorneys office and report them for extortion. It's a computer call, clams to be a lower you interest rate on you credit cards. If you receive this call please press charges. Maybe they will have to pay and stop calling people.

Same here in Atlanta, St Paul - identical pattern. For the poster before that one, the government cannot control spoofers, where the numbers are changed at will. We wouldn't want to pay a zillion more in taxes either - personal responsibility is best here.

The robocall number and caller ID changed from yesterday from 406-936-5472 caller ID said "MONTANA" on Monday 03-24-14 @ 427 PM.

This time message was from "Leah from Card Member Services"...........press 1 to speak to representative.
So pressed 1 and a gal came on the line and asked if I responding to lower my interest rates. I told her "Yes, I am"- then I responded with blowing my SCAMMER HORN. She bailed quickly.

I, like the rest of you, receive these calls all the time.  I suspect that this one is a scam too.  Our government is WORTHLESS especially when it comes to blocking these calls.  The only other course of action is this:
Do NOT, under any circumstances, answer a caller you do not recognize.  When you do, all you are doing is confirming for them that they have reached a viable, working number and then they WILL call you back PLUS sell your number to other scam artists so they can call you too.   If they continue to call then first, check with your phone service and see if they have a call blocker service (mine does).   If I continue to receive calls from a certain number then it goes onto my "Blocked" list.
Also, just pressing 1 or any number they say to remove you from their list is also a scam.   It doesn't work either.   Also, I turn off my answering machine when I am home.  If it answer then once again it only confirms the fact that they have indeed reached a "Working" number.   Have a pleasant day.  Sure am glad too for websites like this.
