I received phone calls from 406-852-8187 early in the morning and late at night. My caller ID shows that it is from TDF. I answered the call once and was told to hold for a customer service representative. I did not wait and hung up. Then I researched the number and found this history. How can these calls be stopped? I don't have any outstanding debt and a very good credit rating. As a senior citizen they are trying to scare me.

I've been getting calls from 406 area code (various numbers).  Like others, I have no debts, the two times I picked up I got a 'all our customer service reps are busy.'  I tried a text message alerting one number that I was on the do not call registry and not to call; now they use a different number, but still 406 area code/ Miles City, MT.  I'm ready to call my carrier and ask if I can block all calls from 406 area code.  If that works, I'll post it.

I have received numerous calls from this number.  No one responds.  Who is this caller?
How can I delete these calls?

This is so irritating. I get at least 4 or 5 calls per day and no one is there. These people should be prosocuted. If you call someone you should at least have the decency to identify yourself and state why you are calling. Of course decency is something these people have never heard of.

Someone called me from this # 406-852-8187 and did not say anything.

TDF has been calling and hanging up when I answer on a daily basis. This has been going on for at least a month. My telephone number was assigned upon relocating to Az. and is unpublished. Perhaps they are calling the former user of this number, but even if they were, why don't they say anything when I say hello? I called this number and reached a voice mail and expressed that they were to stop calling and hanging up. Will see.

Every morning around 7:30 am, we receive a call from this number but they just hang up. Not very nice first thing in the morning!

I constantly get calls from this number day and night.  At first I just ignored it as an unknown caller but when I finally got fed up and answered the caller hung up.  I really want to get this stopped. Does anyone have info on how to stop them?

I have received a phone call from  TDF every day  at 8;03 AM for the last  three weeks.
When I  answer the phone there is no one there.  I want  the  calls  stopped  now!

I have been getting calls from this number every morning at 6:27 am.....The name appears as TDK and my log says it is from Miles City MT. I called the police in Miles City and they have investigated this. It is some kind of credit assistance scam and they are useing computer based dialing and it is going through interstate. It is impossible to trace and the Local police don't have jurisdiction. The US Secret Service has been notified, but they will not take action unless someone is scammed for a large amount of $$$$$. Your only recourse is to block the call......which you have to pay your phone company to do! The police believe the company is located in Florida. Verizon has no record of this number either land based or cell.....but when you do a reverse look up it says the carrier is Verizon. Doesn't this really stink!

It's a 'congratulations you won a holiday' company.  And it was number 406-852-8255.  I've talked to them 3 times in the last month and missed tons more calls from them.  I've told them we're aren't interested and please stop calling.  They aren't taking the hint.

Regarding why they are targeting Denver.  Did all the other Colorado sufferers go to the Arapahoe County fare?  My wife had to give a phone number when she filled in a sweepstake offer at a booth just as you came in the main gate.  In exchange she got to spin a wheel to win a prize.  Lucky us it seems that she has won more than just the junk available on the day.  All we need to do is confirm all of the information they have on file.  Not sure if there is a credit card involved because I don't stay on the line long enough to get to that point.  But from other websites I've seen this type of company can try to get you to give a credit card for a small deposit and then bill your CC up the yinyang.  I'd rather get the annoying phone calls than have our accounts cleaned out.  At best they're trying to sell us a time share.  At worst it's some criminal.

TDF,  Miles City Montana 406-852-8187 / 8255 has unlimited numbers from VERIZON who do not care that this person or persons is waking unknown amounts of  housholds every morning! Maybe a Verizon Exec should get these calls. You have to pay someone to stop these calls. Guess who that would be? Nice Government we have...

I too got many calls from TDF and contacted the FTC.  Today, I got one from VACATION- 406-852-8255. I registered a complaint with Do Not Call List. All these calls with a 406 area code, and many more, are from a VERIZON CELL PHONE and the area code is in or around Miles, Montana. WHY CAN'T ANYONE STOP THIS HARASSAMENT?!

I have also filed a complaint with Verizon Wireless who "owns" the cell phone number. Hope they do something to stop it!

Get Call Rejection on your phone and block'em! Block the area code and prefix too...it is working for me.

Call comes in at 606 AM every morning. Disconnects when I answer it and if I call it back. Put it on my Call Rejection list..got a new number calling - 406 852 8522 - at 604 AM! Blocked that too plus the area code and prefix...hope it works!

There is speculation that this group is part of the Costa Rico mob that's been scamming US citizens with fraudulent sweepstakes and collection schemes. They acquire a cell phone number associated with a specific city, but they can work anywhere in the world that that service provider beams a connection.

And they lie.
Over and over.
Submit complaint forms for the National Do Not Call Registry (https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2)  and the FTC (https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/) b/c volume of complaints will lead to action.

(I post these as alternatives. As much as I'd love Jackie to bust this group up, I hope to garner additional support.)

If they are not in miles city then where are they? I was preparing to travel there after i paid for the address info to kill them. I want to know where they are so I can complete the task! I am livid about them calling me every day. The fcc is impotent to make them stop apparently! i told the do not call complaint people that my intention was to hunt these people down and kill them. they apparently coulndn't make them stop, so I would take the law into thine own hands! I asked what good is their organization that is supposed to protect people from this behavior, that can't? They're impotent in their mission obviously! If anyone can find an address on these people, trust me, I will spend the money and find them and at least make it so they can't call me. Broken fingers, arms.....It is now my mission to find them. I should rob them, for pain and suffering.......

I receive a call from this number every morning at 7:30. When answered, nobody is on the line.  When not answered, phone call is dropped, with no message left on answering machine.

Exactly the same thing has been going on here; Scottsdale, AZ. I have submitted to No Call, but doubt that it will help; over two weeks at 0640 hrs!

Hey guys so i just posted and did some research they are out of mile city montana. Everyone every where is having troubles with these people calling.. Best thing to do DO NOT answer it call you local phone provider and demand that the number gets block

My Husband and I are getting calls from this number day and night as well. we have called the number from our house phone and says disconnected.. we call it from our cell phones and we get an answering machine but they never return calls or anything else. I am about ready to find them and kick some a**

I live in SC and they keep calling me - no message and when I called back I got a busy signal.  I waited a few minutes and got some guy's very generic message.  Jerk!

I also live in AZ and recieve calls from this number at 7 am at least 3 times a week.  I also called the FTC who said they would investigate if they get enough complaints.  Everyone else, please do the same!!

TDF calls several times a week. i have left them several messages asking them not to call back, but the calls continue.

I hAD A SIMILAR CALL TODAY 7-30-10 FROM TANIKA stating I won a trip from an entry back in november and I told them that back then I wasn't interested and to get my number off their list and he assured me within 72 hours I would not get any more calls, what a racket operation they are
