On March 8, 2011 I received a call from 866.682.0803 either Jason White or Andre Howard ---not sure which because I have both names written down.  I was promised a $3,000 savings on my credit card account because they would negotiate a lower interest rate.  If I did not see that savings within three months then I would get a refund.  I must admit I was gullible; however, I was told when I asked him why I couldn't just call the credit card company and do my own negotiating for a lower rate that it was only done for those in financing companies.  Just to prove what he said, I called on my own and, of course, was told it was not a possibility at that time. I thought it would be worth it to have someone else do the negotiating for me if I could save $2,000 because their fee was $995.  You already know what happened---more than three months has passed and I have not seen $3,000. reduced from my account.  All I received was a 25 page budget plan showing me I could make payments of $180. for the next 5.3 years and save $3,000. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.  TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW NOT TO GET INVOLVED WITH THEM!

Dear Carolyn,
I also am in the same situation as you - I paid the money and was worried about sending all of my personal details into them, they already have my mothers maiden name and my ss number, which I stupidly gave them after about a 45 minute phone call where upon I asked them a million questions about their services.  Did you ever call your credit company back and get the money back?  or did they ever come through with the goods?

I also got alot of calls fronm 866-545-9191 When I didn't answer they never left a message. The frist time they called and I answered .I told them no and not to call again. Then the next time they caught me in a better fram of mind.I wish I didn't. When I called  back when I didn't recieve there paper work and didn't want there offer any longer I was told theyn were allready working on my accounts and the money was spent. So all they could do was to send me the paper work again. Thqt thy could only give my money back if they couldn,t save me 3000 on my credit cards. I don't know what to do. Send them the info they ask for or just chalk uop the 995 as a lost.

I got multiple calls from First Financial Asset Services. Caller ID says "406-948-8531 Glendive MT".  I talked to "Tracy Smith" who had details from my credit report and wanted to help me lower my interest rate. I interrupted and told her to take me off her list and stop calling. She asked why and I told her I thought it was a scam. She assured me it wasn't a d directed me to their website (www.firstfinancialwellness.com) and encouraged me to check them out on the BBB website and then call her back at 877-867-5218. She admitted they had a "B" rating and added that the location to look for was Marietta, GA.

Well, I took her up on the offer and found "First Financial Services & Auto Sales" as the only "First Financial  Services" listing in Marietta GA.  So I searched on "First Financial Asset Services" and found one in Port Richey, FL with no BBB rating and 19 complaints in the past 36 months. It listed the website that I had been given so this seems to be the right company. All complaints have been resolved to BBB's satisfaction, but not all customers were satisfied.

After reading the series of posts, I'm convinced that their "business model" is to bill the client up front, mail them a "self-help" packet of info and move on to other new "clients". If any (a few) complain or escalate to BBB, then they refund the fee.

They incorporated in FL in August 2009 and their other website listed on the BBB citation (www.firstfinancialassetservices.com) is no longer active, which reinforces my view that they are a "fly-by-night" outfit. So beware.

FYI, here is the link to the BBB listing:
http://www.bbb.org/west-florida/business-revi ... hey-fl-90075841

They also seem to be related to Suncoast Financial Services in Hudson, FL (same Hank T Waters listed as a contact) which was formed in July, 2010. See info here:

Also, check out the string of posts regarding 866-682-0803 (same outfit, different number).

Thanks, Jim, for the post.  Been very irritating, to say the least, at receiving a call once a day from this same phone number, but they don't leave a message.  Because I don't recognize the ID or number, I refuse to answer, until the day they catch me in the right frame of mind and wish'd they hadn't!  So much for placing one's phone number on the "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY"
