This number calls me at least ten times a day. When I answer there is a recording regarding some garbage about benefits to homeowners. It prompts you to press one for more information. After getting repeated calls from this number daily, I eventually did press one. When the "operator" answered they ask if you want more information. I responded that I wanted to be removed  from their call list. As I said this I was hung up on. Two hours later I received the same call and pressed one for the operator. When the operator picked up, I asked to whom I was speaking with and the response was "the operator, you do not need my name." I then asked what more information they were trying to supply me with and was again hung up on again. I dialed the number back and a recording stating that if you wanted to be removed from the list, to press one. I did so and received several more calls throughout the day. This has been going on for months. My cell is registered on the do not call list. I work in national advertising sales and cannot afford to continually screen my calls because it may be these jerks. I believe they also call from a 701 area code as well. Any insight as to who these people are would be greatly appreciated. At this point I'm ready to put up a fight.

I also recieve calls from this and about a dozen other numbers.  have been documenting for 4 months now. 701 and 406 area code.  Originates through a Verizon Tandem office located in Montana, but it is listed as a Quest exchange.  Have not been able to figure out who the subscriber is, but I'm working on it.  Never have been able to get a person upon call back yet; always the robot dialer with a message to press 1 (which never works) or just a fast busy.  Give me a month or so and search again.  If I can figure it out; I'll put the information online.  These guys are about to drive me crazy too.

I get at least five or more calls from this number and also a 701 number, when I ask to speak with a rep, they say i owe them money but will not give company name, and they have no idea what my name is because when i ask who they are trying to reach they can't give me a name, I am f***ing tired of this s**t, my mobile servicer said i can change my number for 15.00, but that is bull, somebody please help

dear folks, our company has consistently filed forms with the F.C.C. and invariably it's a like a placebo, i.e., sugar pill.

Yes, they do mail back a confirmation 3-6 weeks later, but we find not much gets accomplished.

One day we were even told to file a report with our local police authorities, prior to them being able to prosecute or pursue the complaint.

To the ladies I'm addressing this to, if you are being sexually harassed, or worse, then pursuing the local constabulary would be presumably a prudent course of action.

We feel that with the F.C.C. we get nothing but the proverbial run-around.

To "Spark Plug" - you can pay the $14.95/month for reverse phone detective and obtain additional particulars. The service isn't perfect, but most times does the trick. For the rest of you, many law firms also use such a service.

Again, hope all this helps--as most young girls can easily feel preyed upon because we live in a sinful society that continues to erode any remaining modicum of personal ethics.

With most all of these calls, we only answer once, i.e., the first time. As soon as we get a read on j.e.r.k.-off's of this ilk, we then program them into our phone switch to automatically dump them into voice jail.

Naturally for any additional calls they never leave a message.

More and more, if the call is long-distance, we don't even bother answering the phone. We dump them into voice jail. If it were truly important, they would leave an intelligent message, and provide all of the rock-solid store front info as to who, what, and where they are from. Slime-balls never do that.

It's right up there with spammers that promote Subway, and other well-known locations. Anytime we receive spam from outside the U.S. for Subway which seems to be most prolific of late, we make a specific point of never eating there again!

If "these people" have no ethics, we don't want to deal with them.

I made a complaint and they took my case.  EVERYONE needs to do this, for my calls just stopped, YEA!  These people are fined like $5,000 for every person that complains, and yes they are also calling with a 701 area code.  So do you want them to stop?  Do you want them to pay for what they are doing to you?  Then follow what i say, for i just cost these bstrds $5,000.

OK, I am not going to doubt your knowledge, but I am going to have to ask this question:

If you didn't answer and no message was left, how did you know who called?  If you are a subscriber to the service you linked, GREAT!  Would you please post the name of the outfit for the benefit of those of us who do not want to pay for the information?
