407-000-3854 called at 12:06 PM. The identifier is 'Name Unavailable.' The caller didn't leave a message but hung up when the answer machine came on. The '000' suffix is a big clue that this is probably not a legitimate call. Our phone number is real popular with the telescammers, but I don't think we've ever heard from this one.

This number called and tried to tell me that they were Chase Cardmember SErvices. They could tell me my last payment information to my credit card as well as the date it was made...They did want me to "confirm" the correct credit card number by reading my credit card number to them. Upon refusal they "understood my skepticism, it was a sign of intelligence" and transferred me to the "financial department". I spoke with Robert Graham, employee ID 7959919 who refused to give me a call back number. He did tell me for the low price of $900 Chase was willing to lower my interest rates back to a one digit interest rate. Since I refused he was sorry to tell me that my interest rates were now going to go to 29% and my card would be canceled. I called Chase. They immediately canceled my credit card and issued a new one. They told me that there had been no calls initiated by them to me. And that no, my interest rates were not going up.

Got another call from them. I proceeded to answer the call on my cell and then started recording the message after the press 9 to speak to an operator. I got a gentleman's voice and I indicated to him that I was recording the call, that I had read about this scam and I would be turning it into the Florida Attorney General's office. The guy then proceeded to tell me, "Guess what? Who cares...". I have the recording and will pass it on to the FL atty general if everyone thinks this is a good idea.

It is definately a scam...Another party has reported this to be a cc offer for lowering your credit card. The area is Orlando, Fl..metro... Did not answer...Have been receiving like calls from numerous numbers..sometimes asian/robo...If you block one number..they have 'it seems' thousands more to use...The Asian robos are usually West coast states. The CC offer has come from GA and Fl. Have reported 5 or 6 numbers to Do not Call...Doesn't seem to help!

THIS NUMBER CALLED AT 11.30 A.M. DID NOT LEAVE MESSAGE ON ANSWERING
SYSTEM. I WOULD THINK THEY WERE A SCAM, AS THE 000 NUMBER PREFIX IS
UNUSUAL.
SINCE, I DO NOT USE ANY CREDIT CARDS,I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHY THEY
CALLED.
