Called and when I pressed 9 I was transfered to an operator.

Me: I'm on the national do no call list and I wanted to be removed from their system.

Operator: well sir, you haven't given me a chance to explain our services yet.

Me: I don't care what your services are I want to be taken off your call list immediately.

Operator: well I'm not going to and look forward to the next call from us.

When I tried to call back the message said, the number I am calling is either restricted or unavailable.

I just received a call from 407-000-5832.  Caller ID said "Florida".  I pressed 9.  A female said, "Hello?"  I said, "Please remove us from your list!"  She hung up immediately.

They call daily.  Only this time did I finally follow through and press 9.

Currently, it's being used in a "Card Services" scam.  They call and a recorded message says that it's card services calling and that there aare no problems, but that there is an offer to lower the interest rate on the account... ...but it's the final offer, so if you want your rate lowered you must contact them.  If you ask for a supervisor, they hang up...so, I've gone to keeping a whistle close at hand.... I press 9 and wait for the opperator to answer...once they are on the line, I blast them with it!  Then use some 4 letter explatives and usually end it with "SCAMMING B*****DS!!!!!"

Try it, it's fun!

They left a message, one I could not understand. Sounded more like a grunt. I have no idea who this is. Pretty annoying.

I have received over 500 phone calls from Allied Interstate from a variety of numbers. I have just automatically taken the stance that if I don't recognize the number with "unknown name", it is from them. I answer the phone with, "What the F*** do you SOB's want this time, I told you over 500 times I don't know the *!&#^%&#& slack-a$$ $*#&$* you're looking for...." they always hang up. Now, they call every 2 or 3 days instead of every day. whoopie..... and my state attorney general's office is a joke. The phone numbers are only viable for so long -- after 3 months of waiting on the AG's office to respond, phone number for Allied is no longer good. From what I have experienced with reporting to the FTC, that is futile also. I just hope and pray one day, I will run into someone who actually works for these "terrorists" who needs some assistance. I will help them in the same manner I have been assisted.....
