Automated message. Woman with British accent. Stated that there was a limited amount of time to call about my credit card account. Called bank, it wasn't them. Must be a scam of some kind. So much for being on the National Do Not Call list.

Keep getting calls from this # on my cell. Cellular co said they could block it but they keep calling. I was able to get a return call thru once and when I asked whey they keeping calling my cell the woman hung up.
Per the credit card company this is a SCAM.

Sophisticated Multi-Barrage Scam Attack form of cellphone scam. Please note the details of this message concerning the number 1-945-000-9438
1.) The 1-800-935-4289 was provided in a text to my phone 12/09/2009 @ 1120 PM E.S.T. This particular number was a text message from a source 77893 "rent to own' text message from an unknown texter. The message was "Rent2Own 3bd/2ba home from 194/mo. Apply rent to down payment on local foreclosure. for available rental list Call 1-800-935-4289."
2.) These two numbers were calls after the first was texted. The second connected number 407-000-6238 & third connected number 945-000-9428 were calls to my phone. Both were impossible for me to dialback because of the "000" prefix each had in their dial codes. Their relationship is only by association and my research on the web.
3.) After the text verified my phone was active I received these two additional researched numbers as missed calls.
4.) 1-407-000-6238 - actual number that called @ 12/09/2009 1318 hours EST
5.) 1-945-000-9428 - actual number that called @ 12/16/2009 1600 hours EST
6.) This is an example of a MBSA (Multi-Barrage Scam Attack).

I also got 4 calls from the numbers with the 000 as the first three.  If you do answer and go thru to the customer service rep they'll hang up on you if you don't give them your card number..

I am also getting these calls.  I'm on the DO NOT CALL registry for not only my home phone, but also my cell.  These scam calls are still getting through.  As soon as one gives up, another telemarketer seems to hop on board.    The newest one to harass me is this 407-000-6238 number.  No messages get left and when you try to call it, you're told by the automated response that the number is not recognizable.  This is BS.

This guy called me from this # and told me that he won't put me on the no call list & to s*** a d***. I don't know who these people are but they are rude and threatening. They were crazy.
