This number constantly rings my cell phone

Checked the number and it comes from Omnipoint Communications, Inc. in Hackensack, NJ. The person's name is Wayne.  Got this call on my cell, didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number, they did not leave a message.  I have since blocked the call on my cell.  Problem solved. :)

I just got a call from this number. Lady said she was calling from FMS, a collection agency. I don't know who she was looking for though.

I hope that none of you give out your social security number to these people and if you have I would checked to make sure that none of you have had your identy stolen.  I have gotten phone calls from Collection agencies looking for my ex-husband and trust me they never asked me for my social security # or my ex-husband number.  You never ever should give out your social security number to someone who just radomly calls you.  This is how identy theft is committed. If you give them your name and address along with your social security number that is all they need to fill out credit applications and stuff.

I got a call from this number. No one spoke. Rather rude to use up my minutes for their amusement.

This company keeps calling.  I have actually spoken with them before...they are looking for someone with the same name as me, but the last 4 of the social, my dob and my address are different.  I explained they got the wrong person and to remove my number from their data base.  They said they would but obviously they havent!!!!

they keep calling for my father who passed away last year... I'm not too sure why they're calling or what they're calling for. Theyve also called me for my cousin who has also passed away 5 years ago. I really wish theyd quit.

I got a call from this number looking for someone I have never heard of and absolutely bears no resemblance to my name.  The caller keep asking me for this person and I finally told her - "I believe this will be the third time I told you I don't the person".

they kept asking me for the last 4 numbers of my ss# and where i worked and the number to my work and also if i had a another number where i could be reached, i pretended to be someone else of course.

This number just leaved a taped message on my cell phone.  I'll never answer since I have to pay for the call , then.

This is a debt collection agency. They don't leave messages because somehow you are related to the person they are looking for and they cannot give any information if it is not the one they are looking for. They just ask if you are the one they are after and if not they leave you alone for a while. They call back to see if you can help them out.

I keep receiving calls from this number but never once have they left a message.  I refuse to answer a call that the caller id does not idenify.  Hopefully they will give up.

I think this is a collection agency that goes through the phone directories and calls anyone with the same last name.  What really sucks is that the person they are looking for has the same last name and first name as my relative but...they have a different middle name and also the last 4 of ssn are different.  Every other year they contact us again.  You would think they would learn not to give this guy credit.  The first time I dealt with this, they told me that it was identify theft and someone was using our information but they were wrong.  I would not give out the last 4 of ssn but I did give middle initial and they said it was different.  So...I asked what last 4 they had and told them to quit calling or I would contact my lawyer.  Stopped for over a year and now they are back!  (It is a collection agency for an AT&T cell phone bill)

I'm wondering who the hell gets my number asking for me and and wanting to verify my last 4 digits of my SS#. Is anyone else having the same issue?

I just received a call from this number.  A message came on and said it was an attempt to collect a debt from a company called SMS and to call them back at 866 etc but I couldnt find a pen fast enough to get it all down.  The message did not repeat the number.  I tried calling this number back but the line in continually busy.  I have no idea what this could be about.

Called and left a wierd broken up automated message looking for someone I don't know..   I called back to find out that it's Cingular Wireless Collections.  Never had an account with Cingular..... Only Sprint.   Told them to quit calling.  We shall see what happens

Called my cell and would not respond to "Hello". Must be automated.
