It IS illegal. The people calling you are criminals. Get a whistle, keep it by the phone, next time you get one of the crooks on the phone, give them a good blast.

I want OFF their calling list. When I pressed 9 to speak with an operator as soon as I said I wasn't interested in "lowering my interest rates" she hung up on me before I could ask to be removed from their calling list. HOW do I get off the list. This has to be illegal!!!!!

Received call asking for my son. I was told that I was talking to a MS. Flynn and asked her what company/agency she was with she replied "CRA" asked what does that stand for she said it means CRA. Asked CDR of what Answer CRA of LA. What is it in REF to: Processing my sons paper work? Be carful out there sounded pretty suspicious!

Called at 7:43PM, 4/9/09. Out of area. This of course is a fake number, the zeros give it away. There is no way to stop these people by calling them back because this number is not a real number. This is a scam for you to give them your credit card numbers. I will however turn in what information I have to the Do Not Call list and leave a message that they try to stop this kind of scam. I do not suppose that finding someone who has been able to program his/her cell/land phone with a fake number to show up on Caller ID is possible.

Received a call from 407-000-9191. I have caller ID, so if I do not recognize the number I don't answer and let my machine pick it up. My recorder went off, but no message was left. I tried to call the number back, but my phone service would not let me. I looked the area code up and found some comments concerning the exact phone number being a tele marketer.

Recorded announcement from Cardholder Services offering to lower interest rates on credit card. Pressing "1" to talk to a live person gets a response from OnceSource Interest Rate Reduction Company. When asked which credit card they are calling about, he says they are offering to lower rates on all of my credit cards. I've been getting these calls a couple of times per week for at least 12 months. The male I talked to said he would put my number on their do not call list. I told him I was already on the do not call list and he said that they were an incoming call center for a number of companies. I find it hard to believe that they don't originate the calls and transfer them internally.

Recorded announcement from Rachel of Cardholder Services offering to lower interest rates on credit card. Pressing "1" to talk to a live person gets a response from Jennifer of OnceSource Interest Rate Reduction Company. When asked which credit card they are calling about, she says they are offering to lower rates on all of my credit cards. When I asked her to repeat the name of the company, she hung up. I've been getting these calls a couple of times per week for about 15 months.
