407-000-9999, this number is from Central Florida and my caller id said Sears Home Improvement.

I received a call with an automated voice saying they could lower my interest rates on my credit card, to speak to a representative press 9.
I press 0 and the phone went dead..
who are these people who call on this phone #407-000-9999

Just got a call from this number.  I did not answer.

This number called several times a week. I usually hang up on them but this time I answered.  They said "Hello, are you responding to the lower interest rate offered made to you?"  I said "No, I'm responding to 3 calls a week and want to know which credit card you work for".  They hung on on me - really loud!  I'm hoping they don't call again.  How can they call if I'm on the 'do not call list'?

Caller ID showed up as "UNKNOWN NAME". I didn't answer since the number looked like something fishy. They never left a message.

said they are from a credit card company and can reduce your interest rate on any VISA OR MASTERCARD you have. Asked for a telephone number to call them back at. Said they don't do that but could reschedule a call back. Appears to be a scam.

lower interest rates on credit cards---I asked them to identify themselves and was told that I shouldn't waste his time.  Doing business with someone who is afraid to identify themselves, cries out, that they are cheats and crooks !

Myself and my neighbor have received calls from this number.  The female on the line asked if you wanted the interest on your MasterCard lowered and wanted the card number.  When told she could not have the number she asked if we had a Visa Card and did it begin with a 4. When she could not get information requested she hung up.  She spoke with an accent which was not clearly understandable.  We are fairly sure it is a scam to get your credit card information, but have been unable to get a name or address for the number 407-000-9999.

Claimed was for a creditcard was confused.

I've tried twice in two days to actually talk to them and they hang up if you ask who they work for.
