Received a call from this number letting me know that my Visa and Mastercard acceptance limit has exceeded the allotted amount, or some babble like that. I told them to never call my phone again and they have inaccurate information. The woman said she was not calling to sell me anything, then asked me if I was accepting Visa and Mastercard. I told her I would not give her any information and to take my name off their list.
She then proceeded to ask, "so, are you telling me that you don't accept Visa and Mastercard at this time?" I cut her off again, telling her to take my name off the list, and she argued that I was not on a list, she was calling to inform me that I went over my acceptance limit and that she was just doing her job and not soliciting anything.
I told her again to take my name off the list and never call my phone again and that I would report them. I heard her say, "That's fine..." before I hung up on her.

Yes, they are checking to see if it is a working number for later telemarketing use.

Stop calling or talk to us!!!!

I receive a call from this number every day at 12:10pm and they hang up.

This # calls everyday and no one is ever there.  I call back and also get this number has be disconnected.

 I have received 26 calls from this number on my office mobile phone this month alone. I made a mistake and called back and got a message that the line has been disconnected.  I guess now I am on a list of active phone numbers .  I have now set my incoming calls to go directly to voicemail and if the calling party does not leave a message I just delete it. I get about 5-10 a day of useless calls.

It's a telemarketer for merchant CC processing.  That industry has to be one of the worst for scumbag companies.

I get a call from this number quite often, maybe a couple times a week, and any time I pick up it hangs up. Never left a voice mail. I tried calling back twice and as the person above stated, it says the number is disconnected.

I work for a small business and we do not have any records of this phone number. No idea who or why!

I get a call from 407 277-8844 almost every day, I have an answering machine so i don't pick up, every time it leaves a busy sound,I've had enough, so i called it back & the operator comes on saying it has been disconnected. How is it possible to call from a # that has been disconnected?
