Recorded message about saving money with your energy bill.  You can press 2 to be removed from their list, but we shall see if that works.

No it does not work.  We have had about 9 of these calls so far.  If you talk to the person, she is very rude and accusses you of wasting her time (in seconds no less) if you tell her to take you off their list.

This is the exact same crooks that have been calling from a different 407 phone number.  I spoke with a rep named Helen today and she hung up on me when I questioned her about the Power Savers Association.  Big government B/S is what this is all about...probably paid on call volume and tied to ACORN.  A little advice?  Have fun with it.  Try blasting an air horn or blowing a whistle in their ear.

This is a phone based telemarketing firm that calls with recorded sales pitches. It is owned by the Republican National Committee, A portion of the monies collected go to the Republican Election committee, to finance their election advertising. Although the use of telemarketing is banned if your phone is listed on the No Call List, Ex-president Bush was responsible for having political and charity orientated businesses from the No Call List. This is not “big business” unless you somehow can connect this clause in the No Call List Law to include all the stock the Bush’s have in Oil, specially BP and Exxon.

After their long speech, the "lady" said "I see you are at (address which is beside my house). and will not be in your area till next month. Can we call you back at that time?"

FUNNY.
How did they know my fake address if they haven't called before (answer: because the name of the company has changed). If they knew my address and that a technician will not be in the area till next month - what purpose do they serve by saying "can we call again?" (well, actually,  you didn't have permission to phone me now, nor the 5 times before - when I've asked to be removed from your spam calling list....).

SUGGESTION: GIVE A FAKE ADDRESS. ANSWER YES TO "OWN YOUR OWN HOME". BE NICE. ALLOW THEM TO SEND A TECHNICIAN TO YOUR NEIGHBOURS HOME. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CONTACTED THE NRA TO BE THERE WITH A FEW GUNS IN HAND. IN FLORIDA, PROTECTING YOUR PROPERTY IS A RIGHT AND YOU ARE ACTUALLY ALLOWED TO SHOOT THEIR HEADS OFF (OK. I SUGGEST AIMING AT A PART OF THEIR BODY THEY ACTUALLY USE).

Best thing to do is tell them you are at work and tell them to call you at your new home number. Then proceed to give them the number to your local FBI field office as your home number and tell them to ask for J Edgar Hoover.

They call everyday, three to five times a day wanting to give me a free energy audit. I have been telling them for months to stop calling but they still call. If you call them back at the number they call form you are told to leave a message for 407-288--3570 then told soryy that voice mail box is full and to try again. It's been full for over a month.
